I was looking into opening a Bitfinex account and ran across the fact that you need to deposit$10k to start, is that correct or is that just for fiat transfers or some such thing? Sounds nuts to start with that much on an exchange that will probably tank when the Tether train crashes and burns. Also IIRC all it's fiat portals have been shutdown by the Fed (correct me if I'm misremembering).

Not sure about EUR or other fiat, but Americans are banned from Bitfinex.

I logged in to check, and didn't see that.  Only that any crypto deposit valued less than $1000 will be charged a small fee, while larger deposits are free to make.  USD or Euro deposits require verification to even look at terms, so I can't help you there.

monerujo android app is fantastic! For me the best wallet I have ever used. It is well designed, easy to use and the funds are really on your hands, secured! With xmr.to integration I am able to use monero as currency today, pay bills and consume! That is astonishing! Makes me want to hold only monerojs because of the easy to use, instead of keeping a whole bunch of crap in an unstable and unsecure exchange that will eventually get hacked or get busted.

Folks, I believe Monero but I also believe Assian markets are the most significant markets for Monero...

Are these assian markets same thing as the escort market, ala, Pinkdate?  Cheesy

Thanks for checking on that for me. Smiley

Just couldn't help myself. Cheesy defiantly testing phase rates there!

We are not banned, the GOV has said nothing about it. Bitfinex have said they do not want US residents because of the FED's regulations
(and I'm sure them locking up their portals). I believe it is just IP block blacklisting so thats not really a stumbling block.

BTW I've tried binance in 3 different browsers (Firefox 45.0.1, Epic and slimbrowser) and it's completely screwed up and readable. Is anyone else having issues with this link?

Currently open on Chrome, no problems.  I gave up on Firefox until I get a computer that can handle its extreme hunger for resources.  Ya ya, I've been talking about it for 3 years or so  Roll Eyes  It's on backorder, at least.  Unlike the new truck that I. just. can't...

Robinhood Crypto announced today. Starts with BTC and ETH no-fee trades, but starts with market data for XMR and a few others, so expect RC to do no-fee order flow on more tickers soon-ish.

And: tighter capital controls will always be very very good for Monero.

Anyone else think that Coinbase's new competition from Robinhood Crypto may prompt them to hastily add more coins (e.g. Monero)?

So that is what that page is supposed to look like, I'll have to spark up a VM and run a unprotected browser. I still have no cluw why my other 2 won't display it correctly I finally found out slimbrowser is being reported as outdated by the site. Looks like a nice Bid Green wall though. Of course we all know what can happen with those. Smiley

Take care, a phone has a lot of vulnerabilities when compared to best practices.  Use with burnable amounts.  But ya, it's an awesome app.  I've been used to using mymonero.com for such purposes, and this much easier and more convenient.  Add a hardware wallet for topping up, you are safe and versatile.  SoonTM

Exactly! I just hold less than 1 XMR on it for day-to-day usage and my holdings are cold.

Anyone else feel like we have entered a consolidation phase?

I don't feel like we are going to see any dramatic movements short term.

Still bullish af overall. Everything is falling into place as expected.

4 figs this year seems, inevitable?

They should be watching carefully.  But isn't Robinhood being rolled out in only a few US states as of now?  And they will also only trade BTC and ETH so far?
