Dan - exactly how does the Service Fee Regen work?

thanks in advance

Dan? Are you eMunie DEV?

I think Syscoin Dan will agree with eMunie Dan (me), that one crypto-currency at a time in development is plenty!! Smiley

Hey there Smiley I will 10000% agree. As will my fiance and the collective families of all the Syscoin team members- they've been lookin at us like this ->  Angry for the past week! But we are committed to doing this right!

Going to post more news on the upcoming plans for the week/weekend tonight. Remember we hard fork at block 17,000- about 7hrs from now! We will be monitoring the network as we cross over the fork point and for several hours following... then the real fun starts as we push into marketing the services, building demos / flows / adding enhancements and changes in line with some of the items JohnDorien was mentioning, etc. We'll also post an update on the Moolah situation sometime tomorrow, we're really focusing on the network / stability / performance tonight but Moolah is proving us with everything we need in this interim period although they do still hold the majority of the funds this isn't slowing down any progress.

Volume is rising. Definitely a good sign.

Sys going to explode anytime now?

Probably!

Remember, I said it here first. Sys will be worth 5000 satoshi when the volume reaches it's critical mass.

Needed mining, new features. Probably even higher than that.

you are way too low: 50,000 sat!!!

So I take it you have to be mining at a pool that supports merged mining with SYS and someother ALT coin?

That is correct.. For now http://simpledoge.com. But more are planning to do it.

Yes, there will be plenty of pools doing it. Wink

Hopefully you backed up your wallet. Because if you did then just take a back up and put it into the folder. Then open the wallet and it should work.

Never did. Only a few hundred sys.  Hope there is another option though. Maybe a manual edit?

Oh man, ya gotta get in the habit of doing that the very first thing you do with every wallet!!  I ALWAYS encrypt my wallet, shut it down, verify the wallet program did fully shut down via taskmanager (I do this step as if you copy the wallet.dat file while it is still open, you will wind up with a corrupted backup of your wallet file!).....then I create multiple backups before re-opening.  Then I create a new address to TEST the newly created and LOGGED pass phrase, only then will I deposit any coins in the wallet.

If your wallet.dat file became corrupted, I don't think there is anything you can do to recover them.......I could be wrong though.  Hope you get to your coins!

Do you have any kind of backup running that could possibly contain a slightly older version of your wallet.dat file prior to the issues?

You could try a private key recovery with PYWallet.  It's a real pain in the ass, but so far I have been able to recover every wallet I have worked on.  It can be rather time consuming depending how may transactions you have.  But if you have a good amount of coins it's worth it.

I run acronis so I have something but, deciding to do a full disk recover for a few bucks worth of coins may not be worth it.  Thought of this, on the fence.

Can you point me in the right direction for DOCs on said process or give me a step by step?  I'm sure I could probably duckduckgo (google alt) PYWallet...

Least I know that it's the actual wallet file that is the culprit here, correct?

This is a new one and looks specific to an old and corrupted wallet.dat. Is it possible to pull the privkey and reimport? If you PM me I can help ya out.

Was the Marketplace removed from the new update?

It was removed in a revision to 0.1.3 that caused it to hang on load. The marketplace is still there and functional its just console-only for now as we improve that entire experience within the wallet.

Getting close to block 17000 - merged mining and increased rewards about to TURN ON.
