As you are right about the killing, most coins that are killed off are one in a dozen coins, i wonder why on earth any money flows to all these clone coins, unless it was instigated from the start. On top of that SYS was killed a couple times over already. I believe that syscoin is not like other coins and in the long run it might become something entirely different from what we have seen before.

We can't deny that syscoin is doing a fine job even tho they got burned by moolah, and i'm thankful for that, the few people that are still here from the beginning are thankful for that.

BETA 4 RELEASEDWow I updated my VMs and blew away my deployment enviroment throwing off tonight's entire schedule ! Ok I'm going to make this quick but a larger blog post tomorrow will cover all the awesome changes in finite detail, right now its almost 4am my local time and I do have to sleep. Download Syscoin QT 1.5.2 Beta4 NOWCliff notes until blog post tomorrow: - This release is locked to cakenet. Meaning you use this wallet for you tSYS, and the 1.5.1 wallet for your real SYS. You should be able to use the same .conf between both, cakenet=1 is no longer required.
- To connect to cakenet please add these nodes, we will have more nodes tomorrow: http://pastebin.com/STsMzvSj, for the lazy:
addnode=107.170.119.95 addnode=107.170.185.5
- The scope of change in this release is MUCH larger than planned in the best ways possible. We've made dramatic improvements to the core platform across all services and added new RPC commands as well as improved existing commands- all to be covered in blog post.
- The sample market @ syscoin.market will be updated tomorrow night, and we'll resume promotions via that marketplace, stay tuned for ways to buy items for free using tSYS!
Thank you for your patience, I'm looking forward to sharing the major optimizations made with this release via blog post tomorrow!

Thanks for the support!
With the help of the community we found a few bugs in beta4 released last night and have fixed it and posted a new version of beta4 (at the same URL as previous). If you downloaded the beta4 wallet last night, please grab the updated version for the most accurate testing and experience.
Because of the testing and feedback with the community today (which we massively appreciate!) and the updated deployment we're going to be posting to the blog with all the news and updating syscoin.market in the coming days rather than tonight, so stick around!

I can confirm. I've been playing with the new Syscoin Beta wallet for a while now.
1) Listing an offer for stuff for sale is MUCH faster. It is no longer a two-step process. It is a one-step process. No more copying and confirming GUID's
2) Purchasing an item is about a hundred times faster. You used to have to purchase an offer, wait around for the purchase to confirm, then pay for it and wait around for that to confirm. Now it is a one-step process. Find your item, press purchase and bam - done. From the BlockMarket there is no more cutting and pasting GUID's from the website into the wallet - just click purchase on the website and it opens your wallet (yes, it will actually open the application if it is not running) so you can pay!
3) In the new beta wallet, Alias purchase price has dropped from 5000 SYS or 1700 SYS or whatever to 100 SYS!! I hope it will be that way in the new wallet once it's out of beta.
3.5) Aliases are, in the words of a famous guy, "Insanely Great!". Aliases are to wallet addresses as domain names are to IP addresses. They are just a word or name that represents a single long wallet address. For instance "Dave" could be an alias for Sj48fh38iIIjihf8hfkjdhf8aahf829gakdhf009bB. Once you've purchased an alias - it's yours for the duration you purchased it for, just like a domain name. You don't have to go around with sheets of paper or flash drives with unintelligible numbers to access your wallets or send money. Just make an alias. It makes life SOOOO much easier when you're popping coin between wallets or sending to people from various wallets.
3.9) PICK UP YOUR ALIASES ON THE MAIN CHAIN NOW BEFORE YOU CAN'T!!
4) Inventory control is now working lightning fast.
5) Syscoin is what Bitcoin could have been. It is very very fast, very responsive and has a ton of tools under the hood.
6) The Syscoin community is more intelligent, supportive and funny than any other coin community I've been in. Even Dogecoin! There's no drama. These guys are a dynamic, well oiled team that have been around the block quite a few times. They are responsive as heck. Although, you do kind of need to be on Syscoin.Slack.com as BCT and IRC just can't keep up to the barrage of jokes and bug fixes that go on.
That's just my two cents.

Hi Madmartyk, The new nodes are for the cakenet ONLY to test the blockmarket on a testnet so if you are adding those nodes to main net, you will have trouble syncing: 107.170.185.5 107.170.119.95 If this does not answer your question, please join us on our slack chat where troubleshooting is a breeze with our community! Send me your e-mail at sebastien@syscoin.org and I'll be glad to send you an invite (that goes for anyone else that would like to join!)
