@kelvng105 I'm gonna give you a half-assed answer here. I'm just going to show you how to sell, not buy.
____________________________________________________________ To post an offer (to sell an item) on the Syscoin network (not the Beta): --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Open the Syscoin wallet. Sync. Go to Help. Open the Console. 2) If this is your first time I would suggest preparing your offer in advance in a text editor so you can refer back to it. The command to start a new offer is 'offernew' then the subsequent fields are "address" "category" "title" "quantity" "price" "description" You would put YOUR Syscoin address in the "address" field and you would paste this into the console in one line with no extra spaces.
A simple offer will look like this:
offernew "Si3s32p6rLhi4akhL5PD6XquLU3jeQNuPy" "Housewares" "Plastic Fork" "4" "100" "A nice plastic fork. Great for picnics."
Press Enter
4) Console will return two strings of numbers/letters. One long one and one short one. It will look like this:
"112c222097fc97bec2bb51d5343bc173456c7a45d06700c7e8eb2ab1c23150b8", "cf6a5090e4f2156a"
Copy the short one. (This is called the GUID - I don't know why, I'm not a Dev)
5) Now you have to activate your offer. Activate your offer by entering offeractivate "cf6a5090e4f2156a"
6) Your offer is now activated. You may have to wait for it to confirm. You can see the status of the confirmation in the transaction window.
7) You can look at your offer by typing offerinfo "cf6a5090e4f2156a"
where the second field is YOUR GUID
________________________________ Now for Beta 4, the "Cakenet" Wallet -------------------------------------------
1) Open the Syscoin wallet. Sync. Go to Help. Open the Console. 2) Enter your offer information (detailed above) like this: offernew "Si3s32p6rLhi4akhL5PD6XquLU3jeQNuPy" "Housewares" "Plastic Fork" "4" "100" "A nice plastic fork. Great for picnics." 3) Press Enter.
That's it.

To BUY - you have to know the GUID of something you want to buy. Whether someone sent it to you or you saw it posted on a forum of the Blockmarket...
____________________ Regular Syscoin wallet: ---------------------------
1) Open the Syscoin wallet. Go to Marketplace. Enter the GUID into the GUID fields and fill out the rest of the data in the fields. 2) Press Buy. And a "Pay Now" window should appear. 3) Wait for your purchase to confirm (you can see this in the transactions window) - But DO NOT close the "Pay Now" window. 4) Once your purchase is confirmed, ou can push the "Pay Now" button and complete the transaction. This will also need to confirm
____________________ Beta 4 Syscoin wallet: ---------------------------
1) Open the Syscoin wallet. Go to Marketplace. Enter the GUID into the GUID fields and fill out the rest of the data in the fields. 2) Press Buy.
That's all.

The dev team has been putting A TON of work and good news, developments and updates are being released constantly. Syscoin is poised to have a tremendous bright future, its such an innovative and intriguing coin that has real intrinsic value. The REAL decentralized blockmarket IS UPON US AND WITH MUCH MORE IN STORE! ITS GOOD TIME TO BE A HAPPY SYSCOIN INVESTOR/SUPPORTER RIGHT NOW!

Agreed, this is the real deal when it comes to decentralized market places. It already exists on testnet and it works. No hype, no distant roadmap promises. Here. Now. All those other dark coins trying to jump on the bandwagon, they have no real tech to show and no dev experience to make it. The Syscoin dev team are fully self-doxxed and active in their Slack channel every day, and probably the only team out there to pursue a crypto scammer through the British legal system (more news on that to come....) Go have a look at the market cap of this coin and compare it to other coins that have barely a fraction of what Syscoin is offering right now.... The maths is pretty simple

@xxxgoodgirls, "Is a GUI for selling planned to be implemented?" Yes. ..and no.. It's already implemented If you missed it, a couple weeks ago we had http://ffa.syscoin.market running for the public to test out the selling interface of the blockmarket. It is a fully realised "free for all" web interface to the Syscoin market. Unfortunately (or fortunately) we broke Cakenet with some of our tests. Which lead to a massive rewrite... which improved performance drastically! So it's all good. I'm not sure if FFA will be going back up or if they are just going to release the blockmarket in it's entirety in Beta. One of the devs would have to confirm or rebut. ! so exciting

@sebastien1234 "That's not a half-assed answer! Thanks Keyare!" I think it is half-assed when you compare it to what a real offer looks like: offernew "address" "category" "title" "quantity" "price" "description {description}{Images}{website}{deliveryMethod}{location}{deliveryTime}{shipMethod}{condition}"

Please let me know when someone is selling weed on the blockmarket.
Im sure somoene will create those offers not sure if you will get the product! Why not? It totaly legal in half of the US states.. Actually it's totally legal in 3 states, but by selling it in a marketplace like this will paint the bullseye on you just like silk road. Unless you are going to pay state and federal taxes on it.

Still, shouldn't be a problem selling it within the legal states and adding those sales to your tax payments (that would be a stupid use of the decentralized market )

Go have a look at the market cap of this coin and compare it to other coins that have barely a fraction of what Syscoin is offering right now.... The maths is pretty simple Yup the math is indeed pretty simple! Let's look at the current marketcap of Syscoin: Among the hype of Clone coins, coins that offer a new algorithm(wow, a new algo so people with video cards/cpu s can mine it, I'm sure that will bring long-term value), coins that claim that they will eventually offer something but really they are just another clone, dark markets that are not truly anonymous-- more hype, this is unfortunately the state of crypto that surrounds us. So we currently #72 on coinmarketcap and we ALREADY offer the following: -Current network hashrate is 700-900GH/s, which is around 75% of litecoin's hashrate! -A real Decentralized Marketplace build directly on the blockchain, accessible via the console, fully functioning since August 2014 -Consistent updates since launch, we are an extremely devoted team -An easy to use webportal for offers that are on the Syscoin blockchain is currently in BETA right now - and things are looking extremely good with testing. To make a purchase, all you need to do is open your wallet, go to the website, purchase the item and add your info, the website communicates directly with your wallet! -Assets done like none other currently in Alpha -And much much more to come And it's not just hype, it's real development, real innovation, real value!

Well although I'm not Danosphere, on behalf of the Syscoin team I thank you for the kudos! You are correct, we don't give up! EVER! And this, despite the extensive legal battle we've had to endure! Here's to many more years of prosperity doing "Business on the Blockchain"!!.

How is that handled? Is it just an email later or is it on the blockchain because I know you guys were going to implement that.
