hi, i know this has been asked before, can't find link to a blake256 pool ?
http://www.hashharder.com/blake/neosblakeSeems to be pretty solid for me so far. It's also linked on the NeosCoin.com website. Be careful, its Saffron-Blake, not normal Blake.

Good morning everyone,
Sorry the latent response guys I'm just sort of waking up from a decent sleep finally. Couldn't force my eyes to stay open and brain to function that much more without 1 decent sleep anyway. =) I'll start with responding to the ideas of gaming with Neos. Since it was mentioned on this thread, it definitely was something I started to contemplate and research. With that being said I on that day went and registered neosbet.com and neoscasino.com. I've researched some gaming software that was crypto-centric and the top of the list the software is about $10k with all games included. The issue is, these games seem cheap for the price quoted. I don't like to do anything cheap, or do it just to do it. I'd rather pay $20k for half the games but have them all perfect. Another detail is I won't run games that are unfair. I'm just another miner/trader/crypto enthusiast myself and I've been burnt in the past on "provably fair" crypto-based gaming sites. I won't do to others what I wouldn't want done to me. I'd run the site just for the fact it was wanted by the people, not for profit. With that being said, if anyone knows of legitimate software that's secure, I'm more than open to the idea.
Now onto current development, what's in progress and some of what's coming:
1. The installation process was rough around the edges to say the least. That's been revamped and the only system left to address is Windows, and that's because we'll be using a Windows installer for that. The other detail about Windows is we're going to try to register Neos as a service and get rid of those annoying command prompts (even if they're minimized I hate them). 2. Trading for supported exchanges - in the process of coding the functions for the other sites we came to the conclusion that we didn't have to mimic the interfaces there for the most part, we could standardize the interface we provide to make it easier perhaps and cleaner in the wallet. That's in the process of being reworked as well as a couple of new exchanges potentially being added into the wallet. Right now there are 3. 3. Better statistics and historical stats. While the one graph for Bittrex interest is somewhat useful, more important and useful data can be shown and with the use of sqlite versus polling at interval for the data, it should make for a better and smoother experience. 4. More market data - market cap information, conversion rates 5. The address system before only allowed to generate new addresses, but without labels. That's been fixed now. 6. Locking/unlocking the wallet - folks were experiencing issues after they had locked their Neos wallet and tried to use the interface afterwards. That's been addressed and resolved. You can now lock/unlock your wallet and set a timeframe for the unlock to hold true. 7. Alias system - in v2 you can register aliases for 3 NEOS per alias. The reason for the cost? If it was free, one determined person could register countless aliases and leave everyone else with their hands in the air. These alias funds will be held in a public account and every month a lottery system will choose 3 winners of which the alias funds will be distributed to. 8. The network hashrates will all be displayed properly for the pools 9. Pool stats will be functional in v2 now 10. The bug in the address system that didn't show all addresses has been resolved 11. Blocks and connection status is now displayed 12. Encrypted messaging between wallets is in v2 13. We're working on language translations for the wallet interface 14. Connection to IRC in the wallet via TOR is being worked on 15. Arbitrush is being expanded and modified a bit - those details will come post-release 16. Paper wallet generation is being worked on
Edit: The design is being reworked completely also to a "smarter" design/flow.
I'll keep everyone updated as more news comes in and we have something of substance to post. Until then if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
Best regards,
syntaks

wow... and this is only 16. things? and you say there was 45? holy s*** this is going to be big. you must be the only damn dev in the entire history of crypto that is using the ICO funds as they were intended. 10/20k on a complete gaming system/casino. wow. can i suggest slots and blackjack and all the typical old school casino games. may i suggest something tho, aliases being 3neos per alias, this needs to change, otherwise people will register multiple hundreds of aliases. 1 neos at current prices = 10c, so 30c per alias is nothing. unless your planning on the price to rise dramatically. perhaps you are

Exciting to see what's coming. Still hoping Mountain Lion is included in there somewhere ;-) darkslash makes a good point about the fee for an alias. Maybe it should be higher at the start but if Neos becomes high $ value (which it will!) and people get less of them when buying they would not want to pay $10 or more for an alias. Would the alias fee be adjusted in this case to be in line with a fair $ cost?

I think an alias fee should be linked to $1 i.e. 10 NEOS as at today. and less Neos as it's value goes up. Just a thought.

Great. That's why I love this coin and I'll do what I can to help.We are awesome guys!I'll think over the idea with the casino.Let's everyone share ideas and discuss this.
My idea for gaming would have people playing right from the wallet. The play itself of casino games is simple to code and most of the overhead is graphics and effects which are not necessary. The cards, bets, hand results would be encrypted like any other transaction, and there would be no problem with bad software because it's your own software, and the blockchain is just providing the random cards and the coin exchanges between players/house. No hosting or legal problems because if it's legal for you to play, play, and if not, don't. The IRC could be used too and people have been playing cards on IRC for a long time. For games like blackjack where the player and dealer are not equals a wallet (or maybe a miner) would stake the game and set the rules, and invite people to the address to play. The transactions and randomness would work the same way. Of course this might be much more difficult than described, I could only write it in Pascal and Fortran.
