There are a number of users who have been trying to mine on this pool for days on end with invalid usernames. I've tried giving some of you a heads up about it but they have continued to try doing so. Be aware that solo ckpool makes it impossible for you to mine to an invalid username or invalid bitcoin address (unlike some other pools). Since they have continued to try mining on this pool, I have blocked their IP addresses from being able to talk to the pool. If you find you're unable to talk to the pool and have since corrected your username details and wish to mine here, please PM me and I will unblock your IP address.

There will be a brief blip in mining while the pool is restarted for some minor updates. Most of you should not fail over or notice any interruption to mining unless you're looking at your cgminer console.

Restart complete, apologies as there was about 10 seconds of downtime so most of you would have failed over temporarily. Check your stats for some of the latest changes.

Sorry guys, but unless Phil is organizing the group buy you'll have very few people interested. Your trust rate is just too low (or negative), which means your likelihood of walking off with everyone's coins is extremely high. I'm surprised you haven't been postlocked by now for advertising every page for the last two pages.

I would offer for him to use my address to mine to ,  but I would fear he would end the rental and take the rental coins.

It is a lot of responsibility to do it correctly and  even though I did 75 coins 3 blocks and split them fairly to all involved I don't take on the task lightly.

 It makes me nervous when I do it. Not so much about collecting 4 to 10 btc and renting the hash.  But hitting the blocks and doling out the coins can go wrong so many ways.

Honestly I wouldn't mind volunteering, but I too know that I would have to build a larger reputation.
Only people that have been here 1-2 years minimum and have a large network of trust can do so effectively. i.e. Philip (Only one that does so for now), OgNasty, blazed, and a couple others can really do this.

And it surprises me too he hasn't been postlocked since he keeps trying to get to the german forum, and I bet many people didn't take a german class...

Yes that's right, bestever is a new stat. I was actually restarting the pool to incorporate some minor code improvements and figured it was an opportunity to add a couple of features and let the users discover the new stat Bestever was requested some time ago and is the best share your user/worker ever had, and is an integer making it easier to read than the best share stat since users don't really care about the precision of the share. It never resets allowing you to see your best share after a block solve and is also worker based so if you have multiple workers and miss the announcement here you can see which worker found the block. In addition I've added some code that allows me to see on the console the user/worker stats from the block finder at the time of the block and I will publish them here when a block is found since people always want to know how big the miner was that found a block. Watch this space, but the announcements will still be colour-free.

I saw "Bestever" just the other day and was thrilled;  I figured this detail would pop up some day or another =)

I was wondering if you would add at some point "BestRate" for peak account hashrate?

That would be a sort of usefull tool for people using only their own equipment.

I have a computer with OLD,very old graphic card i can start mining on it LOL
