Good to see Opal coming back to life. The Staking may have some glitches to it. I will have to try and stake again and see what happens, I forget what it does but would only stake for a while and then payouts would stop completely even though I have very good weight.

Let me know.  Also, let me know what client you are running on.

There should be a fee to use Opacity or even better you have to hold 10K coins and be staking to use the service. Any other services too. Stake to use them and you can always sell back your coins later but support the network while you use the services. File sharing would be the same thing then you have to buy coin to use the service and create a demand for coin.

Yeah it just rolled through my coin and the staking coin kept changing but now it says 0 Staking and 1 second to earn reward. It will most likely stay that way as I remember, and it didn't pay on stakes for quite a while as the coin shuffled through the staking procedure. I think I made about 90 Coin in 2 hours.

That was something that we were thinking about in the past. We just need to get a couple good devs on board. I am not going to promise anything, that is something we did too much in the past, and never delivered. The only thing that I will promise is that I will still be here if anyone has any question or would like to help out.

I did just put up a paper wallet generator, http://paper.opal-coin.com/

Thanks,

CoolCash

Congrats on getting Opal onto Cryptopia.

Now how about BitSquare?

https://bitsquare.io/

Good news. Bitsquare sent me an update and Opal is going to be included in the next release. I don't have an ETA, but will keep everyone up to date.

Another milestone in OPAL's path to power!  Well done.

May I suggest that the next two milestones could be:

http://cryptochainer.com/dir/?page_id=365

and

https://coinomi.com/

Just a thought.   Wink

I have an updated blockchain on the opal website. I don't trust third parties. I have looked at coinomi in the past, I will revisit it in the future.

Fair point about the blockchain, but I really think Coinomi would be a good idea, even if if is just to be seen to be there.

Hey,

CryptoGiveaways.org is in its final stages and we would like some from the OPAL team to test our services and ensure all data held by us is up to date and kept up to date.

If you would like to take lead on the OPAL front please drop me a PM, I have PM'd the bct user OpalTeam but not had a response yet.

The BCT thread is : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1025843.0
