First,  I will bring the source code up to date if it is possible. Then i will explore the file sharing concept. In a few days i will submit either a resignation or code for you guys to test out. Please note, i do not do windows builds as of yet. For now It is purely source code. I will look into windows builds at a later time. I would prefer to sign all executables with my PGP sig.

Check it out Komodo says it is Open for dPoW.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1605144.msg17251707#msg17251707

Since OPAL is already on the SuperNET it could do a Soft Fork and become the first coin to get in on Komodo or create their own Notary nodes. They said it isn't that hard to just use Komodo but could do it alone too. JL777 allowed OPAL on the SuperNET so it needs to come back to life and be viable again as the Silver speedy coin vs Komodo and BitCoin confirms. They said OPAL could use LiteCoin's hashrate too.

This is the direction to go if you ask me. Only because OPAL is already on the SuperNET and what better compliment to add to the creator of the SuperNET than a coin they already hosted with the new functions of the coin they just created for dPoW.

With encrypted file sharing integration to top it off...

Coincidentally my 777th post!

Let me take a look, meanwhile, it's taking much longer than expected to bring the code up to date. I can't believe noone has bothered to update the PoS code base in full since 2013.

Yeah it has some glitches during PoS. Completely stops producing coins after a half day or so of staking.

If OPAL is still a supernet core coin then this might be more than just another zombie  coin pump attemp, could be a genuine lazarus coin!

Next should be FIBRE, anothe supernet core coin that needs some love.

Does that guy know why supernet is said to invest into waves decent icomoni and incent? All of these coins will eventually get propped up by supernet machine, and it is vital to have knowledge on why that is set to happen, before massive pumping happened. It's not clear to me why u mentioned opal, it was ruined by inactivity in the markets, no? Either way, I'm monitoring their slack.

Yes it was ruined by actions of unmatured dev (child).  But chain is still going on so this has come out pretty well.  I have booted up my opal wallet.  At this point it would be great chance to any dev that wants to come and take care of this coin.  Like Blochain Mechanic has said but we should wait and see what comes out of that.  Supernet deal with opal probably  doesnt hold at this point anymore but if Vanbreuk is kind enough he can let people release their  opal coins from mgw to local wallet and markets.

Hello, I have received your message in the SuperNET slack. Opalcoin was disabled long ago in the Multigateway because the developer abandoned the project and the SuperNET community. In fact, the Multigateway itself is in process of phasing out since jl777 has moved on to new SuperNET developments around the Komodo launch, so the Multigateway server code will not receive development support again, needed for the service to stay up.

That said, the remaining OPAL in the multisignature wallets are still there, so I am checking to see if the Opalcoin daemon can be synchronized and the multisignature withdraws running through Multigateway can still work. Even if OPAL Multigateway does not work anymore, we should be able to transfer the coins from multisig wallets AS LONG AS multisignature transactions still work in the Opal daemon. I will be checking today and report back.

Ok, good news. The OPAL Multigateway service is back from the dead and so far working properly, and we'll keep it online during the next week for anyone who holds superOPAL to withdraw.

Please keep in mind that the Multigateway won't stay operational for long, so withdrawing your OPAL soon is recommended. Fail-safe steps to follow:

- You need either the Nxt Client (https://nxt.org) or the (discontinued) SuperNET Lite wallet (https://tosch110.github.io/SuperNET-Lite-3/ , download the .zip, extract and run the supernet executable; you can then access the UI in http://localhost:7110 and select "Go to the Nxt Wallet" below)
- To request the OPAL withdraw, you need to send your superOPAL assets to the Multigateway account, NXT-8RQH-HFUP-3AJ9-E2DB9, including an unencrypted and non-prunable message in the superOPAL transfer with the following format:
Code:
{"withdrawaddr":"OPAL_ADDRESS"}
replacing OPAL_ADDRESS with the Opal destination address where you want your OPAL to be sent.
- After your asset transfer receives 10 Nxt confirmations, the Multigateway servers will pick it up and transfer the corresponding amount of OPAL, minus Multigateway processing fee, to the destination address.
