Most any DSL is crap...
My options are Verizon DSL (3d/1u) / Dial-up / Satellite (12d/3u). I'm not even sure the Satellite is doable, I'm on the north side of a mountain. Plus Satellite has data caps (10-25 gb/month) and is expensive. I just received an email from Bitmain that they are being threaten with extortion now on the website and the pool.
Yeah, I just got that too.

Yeah, I just got that too. Satellite is absolute crap for mining... you're killed by the latency.

And the attack is on ..... yes, we are under attack at this moment. Connections to antpool from external site may experience a dead pool status. All miners on hashnest or hosted miners are hashing normal in our internal network.

How's it going, sEpuLchEr? It's been a while. Yes, fibre is awesome! They have fiber waiting on me in Washington State. The county PUD (Power Utility Distribution) also has a vast fiber infrastructure for every citizen in the county. I'm looking forward to getting on it.
That's another reason I don't like this net neutrality thing. We have no cause of concern for bandwidth in Washington State with a fiber infrastructure.
Yes, you electricity rates suck in Singapore! They need to get on the ball and fix that!
Good thanks. Been trying to decide on slush and ckpool for a while now and finally decided to just leave the few miners I have at Ckpool and be done with it. You basically get the same no matter which pool you go to if you mine long enough. But some pools just seriously sucks. I see you have increased your farm by quite a bit. WTG

Are these attacks all orchestrated by other Bitmining pools due to competition?

It's just some jackass - or group of jackasses - who happen to have enough firepower to successfully execute DDoS attacks. He/they are currently targeting BTC pools and demanding ransoms.

It looks like I would start out there with only 250 TH/s at present.
Only 250TH... only?! That's 1000x my hashing power.

This pool getting hit again today? I've had my miners switching back and forth about 5 times today to the backup pools. ...aaand we have another stagnant block.

Payout 347107 sent c0e90d892434871452a2bfa71cd133678223658dabb8808a3db4635408264641 and confirmed
FYI: no ddos seen in the network logs - there's been spikes in bitcoin traffic over the last 12 hours but that shouldn't have caused any mining problems

Is there a record of payouts per TH per day with kano.is?
I currently use westhash/nicehash, and I'm trying to determine at what price to set my miner to switch over to kano... Or if i should just be using kano to begin with.
Cheers!

There is no site wide version of that but the pool stats table (that I added yesterday, but had to remove, and will be back soon) will give you a range history of pool luck. Each account has a record of their hash rates per shift and payout calculated for each block found (Shifts, Rewards) The payout is each time we find a block, and your exact payout in a block is (your shares)/(pool shares) * (99.1% of the block+txn) Shares counted, for each block payout calculation, are the last 500% difficulty (which is currently ~64hrs) It takes ~64hrs to ramp up to full pay and when you stop it ramps down over the ~64hrs after that. The payout per day will vary based on pool luck after each share you submit. The average expected payout over time is 99.46% PPS - but the daily amount will go up and down every day due to pool luck. (the average block BTC for the 181 blocks found so far has been: 25.091BTC - so the payout average has been 99.46% PPS)

RSPCA made sure of it Anyway, the Blocks page now shows some history stats as per my earlier post on the subject. Corrected the Mean% and that of course corrects CDF[Erl] and Luck% since they are based off the Mean%
