Woooot! Got my notification while watching Netflix Smiley

Got my notification walking through the dining room.  Cool
I get 5 notifications Cheesy
A desktop popup from the server block API - and I get it to play a short tune also
2 independent popups from the wallet
A popup from my network block checker

I then check the pool console screen and copy/paste the block detail message into IRC Smiley

Yeah I like to know when we find a block!

Code:
mat: NEW BLOCK(s)
 < 214,352315
(plus a tune)

Code:
BTC: 20150416140131: 20150416140130: 29c56d2a57690b81c535c67a1861165c9fe5acca015c994a51886faff9f79a63
(plus the standard bitcoin-qt mined a block message)

Code:
ckpool /Kano:
    "hash" : "00000000000000001543fed22757017eb975041533133caf5f9d37a5d0e564e4",

Was that a planned Pool restart?
No.

Just had an (unexpected) ckpool restart.
There's (yet again) been a few bug fixes since the last restart, so that updates it to the latest ckpool code in git.

How much hash you guys using and what was you payday; if you don't mind me asking?

My S3+ (500gh) earns about 0.005btc per block, which is what I earn for a full week of twitter campaign and about what I get from the sig campaign each week, too. I may not get too much, but in perspective of other activities that earn the same amount mining is nice for me.

I found a bug messing with my app.

Upon saving settings for the first time, the app will crash. (Quickfix: Relauching the app works)
I'll be updating the app with a fix for this ASAP.

Otherwise, my app has been notifying me about my hashrate dropping for an hour or two due to server down time! It all works wonderfully! Smiley

Also thanks to Owen who reported the issue to me Cheesy

CKPool Stats

Future Plans:
  • Add "kano" to pool name  Wink
  • Solo CKPool (ck-'s pool?) capabilities.
  • Code optimizations.
  • Other user requests if any.

I plan on adding a toggle for Kano or ck- pool endpoints.

I tried inputing my solo ckpool btc address, but the app didn't recognize it.

I input my kano ckpool api information and that data came right up.

An icon in the top task bar to show it is running would be nice.

Looking forward to solo support and the toggle function.  Thank you!  Do you have a donation address?

Sorry, its not yet ready for solo ck pool yet.
I will try to get it ready by this weekend Cheesy I'll keep you updated

Donation address is in the app, or:

19eh5BgzjiUtzzYdfrbDkXqzBKwrtaX55Y

Sent you a small donation yesterday, about what the app would have cost in the app store.  Thanks again.

I get 5 notifications  Cheesy
Use TheOneJester's app and make it 6! Smiley

How much hash you guys using and what was you payday; if you don't mind me asking?

It all depends on the pool speed vs your speed for each block.

http://kano.is/index.php?k=mpayouts gives you all the info you'd need.

In the block we just hit, my payout is:

Pool Average hash: 2.07PHs
My average hash:  24.46THs
My payout: 0.29407558

... and for all those wondering about good and bad luck and such.

Just looking at the block stats table after the block we just found shows how much that can vary but still be close to expected.

The last 25 blocks have included 2 that were quite unlucky at almost 400% (CDF 0.98) and two that were marginally unlucky (219% CDF 0.89)
Yet the total Mean% of the last 25 blocks has been 100.32% i.e. only just over the expected 100% ... i.e. luck only just under 100% with 99.68%

Of course over the shorter term the numbers aren't as good, but the short term numbers (5 and 10) are expected to swing a lot more of course with each block found.

(Edit: and of course over the last 50 blocks luck has been better than 100% Cheesy)

Bringing 2 more S5s online tomorrow.

If I can finish this deal with a building owner in Washington state I'm hoping to bring at least another 30 - 40th online, then maybe rent space to miners as well.
