Decided to point my usb sticks here, getting bored this summer with no btc coming in from mining.  Seeing as my usb sticks run all the time and they aren't going to solve a solo block realistically, may as well trickle some Satoshi into the wallet.
So it looks like my measly usb sticks do not hash enough for my block rewards to be more than dust, bummer.  Considering I'm not the lowest hash rate on the pool it makes me wonder what the other folk below me are doing.  If you're not generating enough hash to get over the payout threshold then it's wasted mining effort.  Back to the solo mine they go, until I can upgrade them here pretty soon.

What is the minimum payout the pool will pay?  Any plans to sweep up all the dust and do something with it?  I bet most users would just donate it to the pool.  As btc prices rises, even the dust will be worth something at some point, and right now my dust balance is around 0.0013 which isn't too insignificant.

Well it involves me writing some code to read a transaction in (well that's only a few lines) and then distribute the transaction to mark the payouts that have been paid - but the catch is I need to also deal with the change (sum of the dust) and the accounts that also mine to a non-account address thus have to be split in 2.
Not difficult, just still on the todo list of course, and other things keep popping up Smiley
The point of it is to have a balance (like it should already ...) so when the dust adds up to enough I can then add in some of the change and pay some of the higher than dust balances.

Dust limit is 10,000 satoshi

Well cool, I look forward to the dust code getting put in some day.  I hope you consider adding a "donate dust to pool" option, I'd probably just do that.

My current <12GH/s usb sticks are just below the minimum payout, last 3 block rewards for their work has been 9400 9600 9500 satoshi.  Almost there... I'll just wait until I upgrade them this summer and then point them back.

There are several miners with less hash than even my sticks whose work is just accruing dust, wonder if they know/care?

Whoever is sacrificing chickens, dancing around in the rain naked, wearing their hat inside out, growing a beard, or wearing their lucky underwear... KEEP DOING IT.

You can probably thank the guy who brought enough PH/s to score 2 10 BTC payouts today, whoever that is (lol, not me...)! Cheesy

Can't be....I just saw a block found!! Is it true, this little r-Box110 found one.

edit: must have been a mistake or something...the pool doesn't say it found one.
If you were mining on a *Hash proxy, it would have been an alt-coin block.

A proxy means they control where you are mining and it could be anywhere ...

That perticular r-Box said found a block for pool1. That's here. It is mining another sha256coin as well, but that would be pool0. Oh...it was cool to see anyway. I got a bit excited...sorry.   Grin

Well it would be either they have a buggy fork of cgminer, or as cgminer says in the README, mining different coins causes problems Smiley

Yeah...could be either or.....first time I've mined this thing doing 2 coins. Who knows...it was pretty cool to see tho. Rarely does anyone get to see it. Really had my fingers crossed for the pool. Oh well...maybe another time. Putting back on my lucky undies while I go hunt for another chicken to sacrifice. Rain dance done & won.    Cheesy
