Yep, I'm already regretting moving my miners from Nicehash to Kano.
I try to explain luck to people everyday because I actually came to have a deep respect, or lack therof for luck because of this thread. If you read it from page one you will see luck discussed many times. The only thing that is constant are people who understand the fallacy, and people who have yet to truly come to terms with good luck or bad luck.
There is past luck and the emotion that we all enjoy expressing. Myself right up there at number 1 of loving a damn good lucky streak!
Someone regretting moving from Kano within the past couple of days made a bad choice but not just because of the luck we experienced, because there are many other reasons one shouldn't leave. Actually, the lower hashrates felt like Mackdaddy payouts, and I like it either way. It does average out, but there are things like the servers. We are provided with a setup than doesn't even bump to 50% at 10 PH, and I'm generally quoting Kano, that may have been a heavier load or lower percentage. We get support out the ass. Kano is here popping up and staying for hours, with CK dropping in all the time, and in general the brightest, and certainly most "plugged-in" people in the scene.
Once you get the 5N and maintain your hashrate while using the tools on the website to understand more about how this works under the hood it makes even more sense that this is where a lucky 10% of the network will be mining. Remember Kano said this pool will remain small. I don't want to be rolling dice for my time to mine here, I am stuck in deep
Helluva Lucky Streak, all good times, I am happy to be mining with the people who have common sense and the people who are some of the brightest minds in bitcoin.
If you haven't ever read it, try it, if you haven't read it in a while, I know you'll want to read it again.
This should be the handbook for bitcoin mining right after Satoshi's Whitepaper
