Yup. Kano.is is down again. If it's a DDos attack again, I hope the people orchestrating this get the worst case of genital warts and pain when urinating as well as a stick up their rears in a non-fun manner.,.... Dbags.

it's ok for me! it went to back-up pool some time ago. now is ok, for like last hour or something Bad thing with the NiceHash is that the rental order doesn't have a backup pool. Also you get penalized a bit for a disconnection from the pool. Good thing is that it pause the order until the pool is up, so you don't spend any money until then.

No you can't hop the pool and expect to gain. It has exactly the same effect as not hopping the pool. Luck decides. You chances of hitting a lucky run are no better or worse than your chances of hitting an unlucky run.
The simple fact is that each share is paid exactly the same as every other share ignoring luck. There is no pattern to luck. You cannot predict luck. Anyone who thinks they can, is deluded.
well that clears it up guess i need to go else where with my questions lol.. a blind man can see the correlation on the graphs. But o well to each there own.. your entitled to your opinion and i have my thoughts as to whats going on. No biggy.. ill move on edit well if we keep getting these attacks latency of a few ms isnt gonna much matter now is it.. Best fork over some cash and get on with ddos protection id say.. Since you like to speek your mind to other pools id strongly suggest this!! Best Regards d57heinz

My little miners seem to be mining to kano.is just fine, although the pool hash rate is down below 3PH at the moment. well that clears it up guess i need to go else where with my questions lol.. a blind man can see the correlation on the graphs. But o well to each there own.. your entitled to your opinion and i have my thoughts as to whats going on. No biggy.. ill move on
My post on the subject was deleted with respect to odds of X vs odds of Y, basic statics likelihood of the outcome of one event vs another independent of each other, so yes, onward we move it appears...

Hey kano do you have any tweeks or updated to the s7 or s5 cg miner that will help perform any better just cerious.
I also am wondering is Kano has any firmware tweaks for the S5 and S7 antminers ... That S2 firmware rocked back in the day; It would be awesome to have something similar for the S5 and S7

There's no such thing as a bad day to switch to this pool. Stick with it and as the pool stats and history shows, you will should come out ahead in the end. *stike-out to remove an allusions to "certainty", seems a touchy subject.

Idea: allow only know ip- addresses - possible to prevent from ddos aso?
If yes, Kano can you build an DDNS - Link to grab our ip`s
pool is back since 10 min.
|
each time you send a transaction don't forget to use a new address, each time you receive one also!

Kano are you able to add additional public IP's to your server(s)? if these were available and not part of the DDOS attacks would the server still process shares on this additional ip? IF this is possible could this be a way to allow miners the option joining of a private hash IP group? (for example donation support) or a private IP group for the big hashers? If the big hashers were part of this unknown IP group then it might be pointless DDOS kano.is as it wont affect the majority of the pool hash?
Assumptions here on how the server is setup and not knowing how much additional public IP's would cost (although I would happily donate).
