Yes the shares % is showing currently a bad luck block, however its not unusual too get an unlucky block. Overall luck of the pool is good. Please do a little research on Bitcoin/pools/mining etc... to familiarise yourself.

EDIT: typo

If I dare to ask, does the percentage relate to how many shares it in average takes to find a block?

yes that is what it means, but its not the total number..

since its luck based going over 100% is going to happen.. same as finding blocks with less then 100%

currently the pool is well above average, and has been for a long time..

let's face it, I do not understand this swimming pools, do not even understand how the payments,
I read that many people are happy with this pool and its gain,
I tried to read the difference between pps, and pplns, and the only thing that I realized
pps and you almost always the same payout, instead pplns you paid for shares when there is a block.
if I ask something, and because I do not understand, I'm trying to understand this pool of about five days, but honestly I have not understood anything.
also wanting to make 2 accounts math I never liked.
anyway thanks again for the answers, although after my posts are deleted, that someone will do bother

Maybe ask in your local native language section and you'll understand better? You're flooding this with questions that have all been answered but you're struggling with English it seems.

to talk with you help me with google translator,
try it with google translador write Italian.
However in the Italian section of this forum there is nothing that can serve
that's why I'm here in the English section.
thanks for understanding

So it is "luck" percentage for next (yet not found) block?

It's the (current difficulty) % of expected shares to find a block.
Every block is expected, on average, to be 100%
Every block ISN'T, since 100% is just the expected average.

I'm new to btc mining and I was mining to Antpool (guess all newbies want to mine in larger pools) for the last 20 days or so, but I've decided to move all my troops to Kano (not that much hash power, about 16th for now, more 5th next week), lets see how it performs Cheesy

Ah!Who's the current winner of the Avalon 6 contest?
I'm asking because I've seen in the pool stats that at least 2 persons were eligible to win it (PCComf and indeec444) both found a block after 18TH January, but there's no info about it.
Can you please update the first page so we know who's the winner?
Thanks and LETS FIND A BLOCK!

Yeah indeec444 is the provisional winner - just waiting on confirmation of his Avalon being shipped.
He's already had email contact with Avalon.

Meanwhile our somewhat longer current block ...
Been 2 near misses so far:
Code:
[2016-01-20 16:28:43.739+11] Share ok Diff 97.2% (110129226991/113354299801.5) --- Pool 18021684283.0 18G 15.90%
[2016-01-21 07:58:47.879+11] Share ok Diff 96.8% (109731253805/113354299801.5) --- Pool 169422287688.0 169G 149.46%

kano,

How do you find that information in regards to near misses?

(though I just grep the log files)

Out of curiosity, do you see which user those near misses were from?

I've redirected all the DNS back to the main node until it's sorted out.

After this my hash rate became better and less Invalides %.
Just for info.

Well it looks like I have found the threshold where my tiny ~47GH vs. pool size will stop generating payments above the dust threshold:
Code:
Block	Block UTC	Miner Reward	N Diff 	   N Range	  Pool N Avg	Your %	Your N Diff	Your N Avg	Your BTC
394107 20/Jan 03:31 24.94952441   568.853G   58hr 39m 2s 11.57PHs 0.00% 2.294M         46.67GHs 0.00010063
Time to figure out how to get more hash pointed here in a way that continues to be profitable for me.  Difficult to do with $0.30/kWh rates...

ouch, yeah I wouldn't be mining at that rate.  I'm over here trying to get by using $0.16kWh rates.

Consider hosting, that's what I do and currently paying $.089/kW at sidehack. My tier 4 bill goes up to $.33/kWh plus tax, so I stopped mining for last 2 years until I started back in October of last year.

Yea, this block is getting a little tough...it's hard to complain though because we have have a great month so far!  I am way more interested in the monthly performance than the daily performance.  Now where did I put that chicken?!

You think this is bad, you should've been here for the 666% block. that was like a week. Couple of days isn't anything.
