How long does it take before it starts. The status is since 2013-12-02 13:21:02 UTC unchanged at "queued"  Huh
Deposited amount is 10m฿  Undecided

The deposit will be activated as soon as new hardware will be ready, as it is stated earlier in this thread.
Currently waiting on 28nm deployment (which is much cheaper than the previous ASICS). Unfortunately it's in the same timeframe as KNC announcing their 20nm preorders :-/ March of progress I guess. Although no one is near 20nm deployment yet.

KNC 28nm efficiency vs Bitfury 55nm efficiency was pretty poor so I'm not so sure it will be a big deal, especially if the hardware is Cointerra (My Theory/Conjecture) which is posting some pretty nice stats thus far.

20nm vs 28nm is about 30% difference, but requires better cooling

Very interesting, may be worth investing a wee bit

Well, hopefully the break even will be less than 17 years.

While there are a few here with a bad attitude, there are more that will answer a question or 2.
Have you read the faqs on pyramining.com?
Read everything on the website first and then we can clarify whatever needs it.

If I remember right, when ASIC was deployed, old deposits profited a bit more from that than actual ASIC deposits.

How will it work when the new infrastructure is deployed?

The older deposits profited from the increased hashrate of their asic referrals, as well as the bonus referral deposits pyramining did for those that had preordered asic deposits.

He said he is changing the way the new hashrate will be distributed and will post here and on the site when he has it finalized.

Good afternoon Smiley

I deposited .02 BTC into my Pyramining account the day before yesterday but it is still registered as being a queued deposit and not an active deposit. How long does it take for deposits to move from the queue and become active?

Thanks,

Cynthia

He has a new round of more efficient hardware coming. He has queued up all new deposits until that hardware starts coming online. Hopefully middle to late Jan.

Ah ok - thanks for letting me know. That's not such a bad thing. It'll give me time to get more BTC in there. Will we still be able to get in at the current share rate (.02 BTC / ea)?

That .02btc/ghs is what he is paying for hardware. The way pyramining works is a hardware pyramid of sorts. Older deposits benefit from the tech that newer deposits can bring in.
He is changing the way he distributes hashing power for new deposits, until he make those changes and fills us in, I can't begin to guess what kind of hashing power increase we will see.

How can I calculate when I'll get my complete reward based? I suppose it is based on my 'Eq. hasing power', right? If I have 500MH/s or 1GH/s in two different accounts, the first one is going to take the double time than the latter?

Probably not.
The second account has more hasing power but a higher capital to reward.
So reward time probably will be the same if you created both in the same period.

This reward time depends on future investments and difficulty increase.

If they use the 1st account to refer the second, then the 1st will payout a little bit faster.

So it's impossible to get even an estimate?
