I haven't been able to reproduce this issue, yet. If it happens again, please warn me.
I suspect that it could have been caused by an out-of-memory error. To be on the right side, I expanded the system memory.

P.S.: I will do some more tests when I will have more spare time (after installing all the asics). If it turns out to be an OOM problem, I will try to refund it by paying to the pyramining reward as many BTC as they would have been earned from a solved block in these days (around 5BTC). I am sorry but errors may happen and I hope that this kind of refund will be enough.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I could be wrong here but pretty sure that is a completely different pyra than the one this thread is for. Or is this something new?

It's a third party service, and it doesn't belong to this thread.

pyramining
0.004 BTC rewards for 3 days from an account with more than 40 BTC in it is toooooooo small
that mean it will last more than 33000  days (100 years) to get ready

http://www.alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator
says 1,1 TH/s gets 10.89 BTC rewards a day, so 5 BTC from p2pool is too low

Please wait a couple of weeks, and then we can make some calculations on the averages.

Yes, that should be the average, ~5BTC is what it mined _that_ day...

Don't complain.  Wink

Bitcoin mining has its highs and its lows, and is variable by nature. Just because Pyramining has 1.1 TH/s doesn't mean it's invincible. Plus, if you'll look at the previous few pages, there was already a discussion about why he chose P2Pool instead of a PPS-service. If you average it out over a long time, there are slight hills and valleys here and there, but overall it comes out to be the same/a larger number. Just wait - we'll get back to normal soon, or perhaps even go into one of those hills  Wink

I've been with Pyramining and bitcoin overall a long time (I've been a user of pyramining since the first day it was released  Cheesy). I understand that since bitcoin prices are high, you're a bit anxious. Just stay calm and wait. Pyramining has shown himself to be a fast and responsible operator, trust him.

Read the Pyramining FAQs, then read previous threads here.  Refunds aren't given, and the time to completion should reduce significantly once all the ASICs are up and running.  Pyramining has already proven itself to be reliable and trustworthy.  The whole Bitcoin mining world has gone through a seismic shift with the new hardware available, and it's a lot of work for one person to buy, instal and configure everything. Give the guy a break, stop bleating, and be patient!   Wink

Quick installation update: everything is proceeding as planned, if there aren't unexpected troubles, all the queue will be finally activated between this week and next one.

To make sure I understand, all deposits from now on go to ASIC right?

No need for the amount to end in 1111 or some such?

Correct, no need of the 1111 in the decimal place.
