I'm selling my account to a 3rd party. Do I still need to contact pyramining to change the deposit address to transfer the account?

I looked through the thread history and found a comment in which pyramining said he would look into implementing this, but I can't see it has been.

Its right there inside your account info. I have used it several times and it works like a charm.

That is a tool for selling it to Pyramining right? And a tool for changing the payout address only? As I said I want to sell to a 3rd party and for that I want to change the deposit address aswell, because that is the means to log on.
Or am I blind that I don't see it?

You can't change the deposit address... that belongs to the account you're selling.

If you're selling it to Pyramining, that's what the sell link is for.

For selling to a 3rd party, you just accept payment for it yourself, and change the withdrawal address to his address.

How?

=squeak=

edit: to change withdrawal address, you have to sign something using your address (as I understand the procedure). once the withdrawal address is changed to whoever the account is being sold to, then changes made to the account from that point, can only be done by signing with the new address.

Current situation:
Log in: deposit address
Payout: payout address

So after changing the payout address, the new log in address is the new payout address instead of the deposit address it was before that?

New situation:
Log in: new payout address
Payout: new payout address

That is how I understand your comment, but I haven't heard this before and it isn't mentioned anywhere as far as I've seen.

No, I don't think the deposit/login address ever changes. It has no reason to.

You understand correctly. Utilizing message signing with btc addresses basically eliminates the repossession of an account. I say basically, because there are always holes in systems, if not in the software, then in the person.

I appreciate that you react to my post, but it isn't getting any more clear for me. I will explain again what I want to do and what is unclear to me:
An account consists of:
- Deposit address --> to log in to the account on Pyramining.com
- Payout address --> to which the rewards are paid
Now I sell my account to another person. To do this, both addresses need to be changed, as I see it:
- Deposit address --> A deposit addres he only knows (so he can log on and I cannot anymore)
- Payout address --> His payout address (so he gets payments)

Now in my account details, I only see an option to
1. Change the payout address (by signing a message)
2. Sell the account to Pyramining (by signing a message)

I don't see any option to change the deposit address, which is needed to make sure the new owner can log on and I can't.

I'm probably missing something obvious. I'm not an expert, which is one of the reasons I want to get out. It would be great if someone could explain it and help me to transfer the account to another person.

Edit: I think I figured it out.
To change payout address, I sign message with old payout address. Then only the owner of the new payout address can change it by signing, so I can't do that anymore. Being able to log on doesn't make any difference.
That's how it is?

Why does that matter? The account is view-only unless you have the private key for the payout address.

ricciolone...

change the withdrawal address, to one of the deposit addresses of your accounts.

you can't change the referral. it wouldn't be fair to the referrer.

Should be normal... your hashpower is based on the current exchange rate at the time the deposit was made, and Gh's are pretty cheap these days.

That's why the same deposit from a couple years ago, is showing your hashpower in the Mh/s range (with a caveat as he change the terms since then).

So, depending on when the deposit was made, and/or when he converted it into fiat, your 1 BTC would be buying somewhere around 350-ish USD worth of hashpower (assuming he's using USD. I forget what his local fiat is)

Mining goes up, and isn't constant so off course time between rewards are becoming greater.
