and naturally, with the price dropping, while server expenses remain the same, it takes more coin to cover them, so if our luck the past few weeks has been low, we may have been mining at a loss for a little while.

That would explain the 30 days since last payout. I have been watching one of pyras mining addresses and it appears he has been letting the btc sit, my guess is to wait for a better exchange rate so less btc is paid for maintenance.

I heard that PYRA is refunding accounts next week (or is it only for therocktrading customers who had shares in it, i don´t know) (Not a customer just reading it on a exchange from a friend) I had shares before but moved out in march and went into PBMining - luckly i did have positive ROI already. https://www.therocktrading.com/en/topics/where-is-pyra

My deposits from over 2 years ago are still chugging along and making 48MH/s...
I don't think we'll ever get through the backlog.

Honest?! When I added my BTC to my Pyramining account, one BTC was about 8-10 €. But Pyramining offers me - if I sell my account - only about 2 €/BTC. Is this honest? I feel pranked!

Not enough info. Paste your account's information page so we can see for ourselves...
(you can blank out the deposit/withdrawal addresses)
Or you can post the deposit address and we can look it up for ourselves.

He also used those funds to invest in hardware, plus the cost of running and maintaining those machines, you can't expect to get paid back @ 100% of what you invested. Those funds were converted into hardware. IMO, despite getting stomped by the sharp diff increases, its worth holding onto longterm. The difficulty will level off eventually, and when that happens along with a higher BTC/Fiat value, we will eventually get our btc back and then some.

with actual speed ~90 satoshi /week, I think I will get payout after 2100 years Most of that low payout is due to the low btc price, he pays the power/rent etc in fiat, so the lower btc is the higher % of earnings go towards that, the same works in the reverse, when btc starts climbing again, the % of btc needed to pay the power bill will be lower. I have no doubt that we will eventually catch up to difficulty as the diff slows down and btc climbs.

Pyramining hasn't shared what the actual costs of the mine are. At least not that I have seen. Maintenance costs are of course dependent mostly on what the cost is for electricity, not to mention rent or mortgage on the space housing the miners, plus internet, etc. % costs for fees has been very high for all cloud operations, hashnest was as high as 75% not long ago and they just cut their fee to equal 45% of earnings. TLDR: You received 35% of the expected earnings for that 7 days, considering the current btc/usd/eur price, thats not unexpected. Keep in mind though, pyra pays out 110% of your deposit, no matter how long that takes, your not buying a "contract" that will stop paying after a set period of time.

For those interested, it appears as though bitmain finally launched their p2pool. https://antpool.com/home.htmIf it does network with the global p2pool network, it will add 20phs to p2pool.
