Spells of Genesis (SoG) is an upcoming trading card/arcade game, from Swiss-based company EverdreamSoft, which will
integrate bitcoin and blockchain technology in its game economy as well as its storyline. It is targeted for release in late
2015 for iOS and Android devices.


A Game For The Community
Our motivation in developing SoG stems from our desire to create a game in strong cooperation with the community. With Moonga, our
main trading card game, we were among the first to have a free-to-play game on the AppStore in 2009. Since then, the genre has
evolved in unexpected ways.

We saw some of our players trading rare cards for more than 1000 USD, even if it was not allowed by the terms of service. A whole
economy emerged in the game. This inspired us to conceptualise how we could go beyond that and leverage digital goods ownership.


Innovative In-Game Economy
While working as a core of the whole game economy and background story, cryptocurrency will be used as an in-game means of
exchange. Counterparty tokens will be assigned to cards in SoG which means you can trade cards freely within and outside the game
app. Players will own their game items and cards not only in the game world but also on the bitcoin blockchain. Other functions on
Counterparty such as the lock feature will also give players the possibility to lock a specific amount of rare cards in a public and
transparent manner.




Token System

BitCrystals
BitCrystals are Counterparty assets acting as both the game-fuel and the premium in-game currency. There is a limited supply of BitCrystals
which can be used (burned) to create new card packs or traded with other players in Spells of Genesis.


Token System
You will be able to trade cards and game items easily within and outside the SoG game app. This is made possible through Counterparty,
a platform which can be used for creating custom tokens which act as their own cryptocurrency, while still running on the Bitcoin blockchain.

Game assets in SoG will all be assigned a unique Counterparty token. The picture below shows an example of how the Counterparty tokens
for cards may look like in the typical Counterparty wallet. Assigning Counterparty tokens to game assets allows them to be traded freely
outside the game. Players will own their game items and cards not only in the game world but also on the blockchain.

The use of Counterparty's functions such as the lock feature opens up the possibility for players to lock a certain amount of rare cards in a
public and transparent manner.

How It Works
SoG is being developed by EDS. The production costs of SoG will be funded by Gutenberg, the project code name for our platform which
burns BitCrystals in order to issue new digital game items to players and backers. The proceeds from the BitCrystals Token Sale will go to
Gutenberg.

An Example
You can purchase game items through Google Play/AppStore using your own country's currency. When a player buys a card pack in the
AppStore or on Google Play, we buy back 50% of the price in BitCrystals from our backers. Backers of SoG can use BitCrystals to purchase
new cards and game items.

The Game

Spells of Genesis will combine the collection and social aspects of Trading Card games with the addictiveness of Arcade games.
In the game you embark on an epic fantasy adventure in the world of Moonga while constantly collecting and trading orbs(cards) to upgrade
your deck. On your adventure, you will face hundreds of opponents. To defeat them, you have to battle them using the unique battle system
featured in Spells of Genesis. The following screenshots are from the alpha version, the background is missing and visuals are not final, but
will illustrate how you will have to battle your enemies.


In each level, there are some enemies you have to destroy. You do that by shooting your own orbs at them. Each orb has different strengths,
weaknesses and special abilities. When your orb has zero speed left, it will grow until it reaches an obstacle. Placing your orbs strategically is
crucial to achieve victory, because if you cross the red line, you will lose.


Beside from what the screenshots above show you, the game will take place in a fantasy world. You will travel through mountains, deserts,
waters and will meet the most amazing creatures there. There will also be a Player versus Player and other social features.
As the game is very easy to learn instead of traditional trading card games, we try to reach a wide audience of casual gamers. But, the deck
making and skill which is required in the later levels and online will make the game very interesting for hardcore and competitive players.
Spells of Genesis will be developed by Everdreamsoft, the creators of the successful trading card game Moonga (250.000+ downloads).

 




Askian - The Quest to the Genesis Block
Spells of Genesis: Backstory

The Grand Story of Moonga
For over 700 years, the different kingdoms in the world of Moonga lived under the dominance of the terrible empire of Sayosia. Then, in a
small town, a boy named Kallan was born. His father, a blacksmith, had no place for him so he decided to take him elsewhere. After it
seemed that nobody wanted the clumsy child, he decided to bring him to a small forest where the Wizard of the Four Valleys was known
to live. Raised by the Wizard, Kallan learned to understand nature and the world around him. When the time came for him to leave the
Wizard, he went to a city called Cartaam, where he made a discovery that would change the world of Moonga forever.

He found a way to confine the essence of creatures and humans into small parchment pieces.
These small cards – commonly known as Spells - enclosed the essence of what had been imprinted in them. It was a difficult, meticulous
task and it took Kallan several years to master the right formula. With these powerful spells, the people of Moonga were able to defy their  
rulers, and a new age began…


The Jewel Valley
The new chapter that we are introducing with Spells of Genesis is an allegory of the
cryptocurrency. Askian is a place in the Moonga realm surrounded by high mountains inhabited by humans, dwarves and dragons. People
living in Askian are rich as the mountains contain a lot of precious materials. These precious materials which are mined in the mountains
possess magical properties, allowing them to be transferred in the air easily. Different regions of the valley are fighting for its dominance.
Some groups rise from time to time, creating and mining varieties of precious material while trying to rally most of the miners to their
cause. In fact, the group who can impose their precious jewel will gain significant wealth.

The rulers of Sayosia feel threatened by these new currencies over which no taxes are being paid and send their armies to destroy this
new source of wealth. The different clans of Askian will have to join forces against this common foe to survive, but there is another threat.
Rumours have been spread that Sayosia is sending expeditions to find and destroy the mysterious Genesis Block, which gives the
materials of Askian their magical powers. If they succeed, Askian will fall in decay. The rulers of Askian decide to form an expedition of
their own, consisting of their clans' strongest warriors and wizards. Together, they will embark on a quest to find and protect the Genesis
Block, before the Hordes of Sayosia find it.

And thus begins the Quest to the Genesis Block...

What is the Token Sale?
The BitCrystals Token Sale is a bit similar to a Crowdfunding. When you buy BitCrystals, you become a backer of SoG and you can use your
BitCrystals to acquire game items.

What are BitCrystals?
BitCrystals are tradable assets acting as both the game-fuel and the premium in-game currency. They can be used to enhance your gaming
experience (like buying card packs) and traded with other players. We need to buy back BitCrystals and burn them in order to issue new
card packs.

When did the BitCrystals Token Sale start/end?
The BitCrystals Token Sale started on August 4th, and ended on September 3rd, 2015.

As an early supporter, you get BitCrystals when you sign up on our website before our Token Sale begins. During the Token Sale phase, you

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

For the crowdsale we are targeting early November. At the moment, we are gathering a comunity, when it is big enough we will come up with an exact date!

wanted to offer something what we are doing for a 2 months with all economy system in it and have API, first games on 15th of OCtober. We have investor fund and 200k freshcoins in it. About API, our dev is making it right now, it will be finished soon and implemented into games for using freshcoins deep into games as in-games feature. I can send you diagram if you are interested?

Yes of course as I said to you into PM we have whole economy around it with all benefits as for gamers/game developers/investors. It is called Proof of market which means usability of the coins into real markets. We mapped freshcoin as property which has wholesale and retail price.
Wholesale price is its price on exchange. We want uptrend stable price. Retail is 1$ for 1 freshcoin and it is just for invested freshcoins which are dedicated for using into games.

Engine of whole process if freshonline system (which is distribution and promotion system beside payments) and our motto is FreshTheGame which means lots of for gamers. As I said our plan is unique in terms of usability with win/win/win system for all three sides which are connected with freshcoins.

Mine value projection

What is the value of a mine and what is the projective value

To determine the value of mine we worked on a business plan. This plan is a projection on what could be the value of a mine. We do it the same way we would have done for an investor in the game. The main difference is instead of raising funds we are pre selling game assets. The decentralised nature of the assets allow them to be traded freely. This way people who participate to the crowdsale will have an idea of the future value of the items they will receive in game for participating.
We are also allowing people to vote on important game decision according to their mine holding.

The assumptions are based on our experience on the mobile game market as well of insight data we got from the industry.

Constants

100’000 mines will be produced in total

They will be given as gift, sold or shared to people helping the game production
The first mines will be sold with the higest discount. Then the price will increase until all mines are sold.

We will start the crowdsale as soon as the mines reach a 3.5 $ value per unit. Before the crowdsale we determine the value of a mine by the project popularity


The popularity is counted this way

1 Twitter follower = 1 point
1 FB like = 1 point
1 email subscriber = 5 points

Estimated value of a mine 6.50 $ (12x the monthly generated value)

In the pessimistic scenario we estimate to have created a game with an honorable success without reaching anything significant in the game market.

2. Realistic scenario

The realistic scenario states that for the first year of running the game

Monthly active users : 800'000
Average revenue per active user ARPU : 1.6 $  

Monthly generated revenue in stores (iOS android) : 1’280’000 $
Estimated value of gems generated by a mine Monthly : $14.22
Estimated value of a mine 170.67 $ (12x the monthly generated value)

In the realistic scenario we estimate to have created a game with a good success in the market 1 million monthly users is a good success for a free to play game. The average revenue per active user is correct better that the pessimistic scenario.


2. Optimistic scenario

The optimistic scenario states that for the first year of running the game

Monthly active users : 30’000'000
Average revenue per active user ARPU : 1.6 $  

Monthly generated revenue in stores (iOS android) : 1’280’000 $
Estimated value of gems generated by a mine Monthly : $375.00
Estimated value of a mine 170.67 $ (12x the monthly generated value)

In the optimistic scenario we state that spells of genesis is a game created and owned by the player community. This model bring the game into the top games. The game is comparible to Heartstone or the most grossing games such as Puzzle&Dragon



Either ways you will probably agree that now is the best time to get mines for free without taking any risk. You get a chance to be at the beginning of a very big thing !
