Downloaded the trider app, looks good, I love the dark theme. Need candlestick and volume chart to be completed though. At least it's functional on my phone (TabTrader is problematic here).

meh pow phase is over! lets keep it that way! why re open it? if anything we should setup a multi pool so people can still mine it while helping to boost the price a bit!

We definitely need to do something. Attracting new users is a must. Another POW phase will bring in people who dont want to buy existing coins in order to stake them. A multipool might have the same effect. Either way, letting Triangles stagnate isn't good.

When the initial POW phase ended and transitioned into POS, thats when the blockchain stalled. If it would have been a fluid transition I believe we would have a much bigger user base now.

i agree with you! something must be done to bring in new users and increase volume and demand! just wondering what the dev and or the community has in mind for the future?

I'm liking Trex new look. They have that new coin distribution tab. Im guessing that is for balances in bittrex accounts and not like a rich list of actual wallets?

Nah, it's not dead - "stasis", like someone wrote above, is a very good description.

I have not given up on TRI, it's not abandoned! I know I repeatedly said I am going to finish the wallet (and I still mean it), but I simply lack the time - and with lack of time comes a temporary loss of motivation caused by exhaustion which is fueled by lack of time. It's a diabolical circle! oO

Anyways, the wallet is coming, sooner or later. I don't think it's that urgent because - correct me if I am wrong - there are no technical issues, at least not that I know of.

I have one wallet running perfectly fine for over 2 months straight, happily staking. =)

But if someone feels like doing a little more - whatever that may be - for or with TRI, simply msg me. I won't stop you (and even support you!) - this has been a community project ever since it was taken over. Wink

There are enough people who care about the coin to keep it from being delisted from Bittrex.  We need a little over .8 BTC of volume in the next 4 days.

Well i'm almost sure i'm dumping something on tri.
But i gotta be sure it's not unlisted before.
Also, i'm gonna be running my wallet on a Rpi, is there a source code somewhere?
I found this but i'm pretty sure it's outdated

This is indeed outdated - but not as much as one might think. In fact there are only a few lines of code altered in the non-gui part of the current beta wallet (compared to the github).

Since you're talking about a Pi, I assume you want to run the wallet as a daemon?

Rasp Pi 1? Someone tried to compiled the daemon earlier on an Rasp Pi 1 but failed due to some boost library version issues. Are you able to compile the current github sources on your Pi?

PS: Delisting won't happen. Wink

Just shot a message over to PoolWarz to see about adding TRI to their multipool. Will keep you all updated on the status when I get a reply.

edit: not sure if they support pos only coins. I guess I'll find out soon enough. In the meantime I'll continue my quest for other multipools

Hey umm, i've compiled the wallet and this showed up:

QGtkStyle was unable to detect the current GTK+ theme.
Then it crashed.

The i've installed some packages (glib if i'm not wrong) and now i get this:

And then it crashes again. Any suggestions?

Found the real error. The gtk ones are gone i've updated some stuff, and i could launch perfectly another wallet despite them.
Here it is:
