remember that with pascal or new amd, all those miner software will be useless

Oh yeah? Kernels don't matter with new GPUs? XD

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

not that, but you need again to pay for a better release, also it's not like going from 750 to 970, both were maxwell, this is a new tech

Change between 2XX series and Fury wasn't a big deal. As long as they're CUDA compliant they'll work fine and just need a bit of tuning.

I'm hoping we'll reach an age where miners will collectively gather funds to pay for miners and developers to create miners and not the other way around...

Oh well, at least one can dream.

And Decred is basically to worthless to mine now after the dual miner hit.

If you guys make a dual miner, please combine it with a different algo... Like Neoscrypt (although more memory hard).

im with you on that mate ...

the dbm system is STILL functioning and running - so if miners want to donate by mining to the dev of their choice - they still can ...

its still going through nicehash - as unfortunately to date - i have not been able to get a dev to build the multipools i wanted to incorporate this donation system ...

we can STILL dream ...

Too bad a dev fee isn't exactly like that without infrastructure and they already exist now...

I thought of a dual etherum miner a long time ago, and I also suggested this to Genoil here on bitcointalk. This was before decred came, and I was thinking of a dual  Keccak(Maxcoin) + etherum.. You need a simple algo with no memory access to take advantage of the memory pipeline.

It's one thing to find two algos that can run tohether, but another thing to find two profitable algos.

True that. I should have listened to you  Grin. Maxcoin would have been great. Perhaps I should try it anyway and see if we can pump it a bit.

Yet you guys didn't make one and he did. Dual mining in practice still seems relatively new and there isn't a Nvidia version for anything. Ideally... allowing someone to combine whatever algos they want would be great (whether or not it would work out well or not as far as performance goes).

Also keep in mind that it has to include a coin that's worth money. What uses Keccak and is worth mining?

decred was not even the second most profitable before this dual mining thing, but ti was more convenient to do the dual mining for the ram reasons

Anybody help please....I was forced to buy 2   970 gtx gigabyte g1 graphics cards...only wanted one. Newegg took my BTC and never gave it back forcing me to buy 2. Never doing business with them again.  So I'm having problems with it.
I noticed on my 1st card installed it read out 3505,1455..so I set the clocks to 3505,1455.
When I installed the second card and looked at the clocks available .. it read out that both cards showed 3505,1519. ? ? ?  Should I set them to 3505,1455 to get to the  p0 state?  Or should I just leave them in the p2 state?    Thx

Set the P0 state only for mining ETH. For other algos there is no need to.
I usually set the P0 state first and then overclock with the standard procedure.

Thx    but what upper clock readout do you are anyone here get on that card.
I do set them to p0 state for everything ... but I may try p2 state.  The one card I just got is giving me problems like I said above even at p2.
Anyone have the same clocks?........maybe related to having 2 of the g1 cards I don't know.
Runs for awhile then crashes the drivers at any state they are set at... just curious about the clocks.
Crashed 50 times today.

Yes but I can't afford the cost wear and tear on my car and the cost would be ~$100 to go there.
I noticed that my psu is in silent mode and kicking off too..I can't find a fan control that will work.
I have multiple problems .. might have to return the card.
Why don't those cards stay in the p0 state.. fcking nvidia.
Trying 970 drivers instead of 980ti drivers.
Sp sorry for messing up your thread.
