Too much mystification around this Lyra2REv2 optimized miner Cheesy Anyway, we bought this optimized miner from the developer that contacted us and offered us to sell the miner to us. He never used his real name so we can't confirm his real name and thus can't mention him as an author ... anyway he never even asked to be mentioned. But he is a good dev and already working on other improvements. And since we like open source we put the sources online - even if we could only put binaries (we always release source, the only case when we don't release the source is when we only buy binaries).

We are however a bit disappointed on you, sp_ ... you grabbed the public source and put it into your private miner (greedy) - now this is really not nice, you should put it in your public github repo and make a new public release.

Anyway, keep on hashing Wink

Best regards,
NiceHash team.

Default intensity parameters of your release of new lyra2rev2 miner are "eco-mode" for gtx750.
I put -i 20, the gpu memory load increased to 600+mb and hashrate from 6020 to 6200.
And yes. ccminer-1.7.6-mod-r5-fix is slightly faster then yours ...

SP_ PRIVATE #7 IS FASTER--

I just ran a brief test on the CryptoMining-Blog version vs. sp_ 's modded Private #7 while miniing Lyra2v2.  On my EVGA GTX 960 SC, in Win 7 x64, I get about 15.3MH/s with sp_  's Private #7, and 14.55MH/s with the CryptoMining-Blog version that is mentioned above.  Both miners were run at an intensity setting of "-i 21.3".  If there is a fuss over this, I will post screen caps later.       --scryptr

Thanks for testing scrypter. My test card is a MSI gaming 960 with a 4 pin power connector. The default intensity for the gtx 960 is set to 22, and it seems to perfom bether with higher intensities. But some cards will trottle, and hash could be lost.

Spmod #7 lyra2v2 results peakedi
970   (1500 boost core clock) 24500 (evga ssc gaming elpida)
750ti (1430 boost core clock) 7800 (zotac samsung)

Nice. Thanks for testing.

Peak hash difference 750TI extra 300Khs compared to Nicehash miner.

Peak hash difference GTX 950 extra 700Khs compared to Nicehash miner.

Peak hash difference GTX 960 extra 800Khs compared to Nicehash miner.

Across the Nvidia's cards SPMOD is best at LYRA2V2 Grin

Buy it Quick

Can anyone test it on the gtx 970,980,980ti, 1080 please. Please compare my optimized miner(all nicehashalgos optimized #7) with the nicehashminer.

sp_ just optimized and sold it... as usual.

You need to rephrase..

sp_ optimized it.... as usual. and gave it out for free to the donators of the sp-mod opensource ccminer fork.

Cool, are you adding any voltage or is that with default voltages?

Lower Nvidia cards are all faster on SP-Mod 7 private miner than Nanashi Meiyo-Meijin:

750TI is 200khs faster (factory boost clock 1345)

950 is 550khs faster (factory boost clock 1417)

960 is 650khs faster (factory boost clock 1392)

So, SP_  private miner are still the fastest Lyra2v2 avaliable to small miners with 2-4 GPU's.

I am forking the Nicehashminer to create a free sp-miner with all the algos optimized.

The nicehashminer for the NVIDIA GPU's is using  the opensource  sp-mod release #74 to do their work for free. I have recieved 0.2BTC in donation from Nicehash.com  and  30BTC founding from the people.  (the  ghetto rigs from the underground).

The C# based SpMiner will come with a 2% fee, and every algo you mine will be more than 2% faster than the nicehash miner. It supports dualmining and you just run it, and it will automaticly mine and pay you in DASH..

Thanks for your support.

I would much rather you focus on increasing the current most profitable algos and adding the new ones. I donate every time you have a new version of the fastest this or that, but currently on tpruvot's as you don't have blake2s, skein, sib, x11evo, or c11 supported or optimized in your private version. Also please increase the max password length. I love your work and will continue to support you, but this game changes daily and requires more frequent commits.

But, SP_ you don't have anything to prove to anyone on this thread.

Everyone knows you are a coding "Genius".

Everyone, is just glad you gave them a bit better hashing, when other people did not Smiley

Happy Mining!

And, always make sure you get decent percentage of the profits from your coding "Genius".

Why would I want to get paid in dash and not use my own pools? While I approve of a crowd funded miner through mining fees, I don't approve of losing control of my income method and pools. That's not really something I'm willing to compromise on either. Pretty certain there wont be many takers on this.

I don't want to create another Nicehash by funneling a bunch of hash through one service.

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

ALL-IN-ONE MINER--

The only thing that needs to be done is to get an executable binary, the "all-in-one" miner, that can be substituted into the NiceHash framework.  It could also be used with YAAMP batch files, or other ccminer-style launch strategies.       --scryptr

We will always buy any private speedup and make it public. As long as it has reasonable price for reasonable algorithms working on reasonable devices.

We offered you $$$ for your work, but you refused. You even didn't reply to my last PM. What else can we do... Smiley

ALL-IN-ONE MINER--

The only thing that needs to be done is to get an executable binary, the "all-in-one" miner, that can be substituted into the NiceHash framework.  It could also be used with YAAMP batch files, or other ccminer-style launch strategies.       --scryptr

I'm a blockchain suite developer. Nicehash helping the blockchains to grow, but they feed on the opensource work of the developers. And when they buy a slow kernal for  alot of xxx they get fucked.

A fork in the ass for nicehashis.com

We will always buy any private speedup and make it public. As long as it has reasonable price for reasonable algorithms working on reasonable devices.

We offered you $$$ for your work, but you refused. You even didn't reply to my last PM. What else can we do... Smiley

From what I can tell, NiceHash spurred other devs to create improved products.  I don't see their investment as a fork in the ass at all.  In fact, I'm certain that NiceHash is getting more than their money back in mining fees from the improved hash rates of their customers.

This is a Win-Win scenario for Nicehash and their customers.  It's just good business.  It's actually more than just a win-win for NiceHash and customers.  This is win-win-win-win... now that it has spurred mining and blockchain expansion throughout the crypto-coin community.
