I was on pool.mn - all ok but want to try with ccminer on yiimp.
Now have gtx1070@272mh on yiimp and total 330mh amd power (wolf opensource) on pool.mn, will compare ))

it's better for me , now i'm at 30 coins in 13 hours with 1250MH

but it need better testing, it may be just luck, not even 24 hours is enough here

1070 has higher density, so better for mining rigs.
efficiency should be about the same, but I still don't have the 1060 numbers.

Anyone working on improvements on Epsylons Library code? I assume it's pretty fresh because it's just released and can be improved on.

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

Library is very quickly approaching equilibrium with other algos. Curious as the AMD miner is garbage (unless you happened to purchase from Wolf and even then it's not as good as Epsolyns), comparatively AMD excels at mining Ethereum... So we should see AMD miners starting to return to Ethereum before we reach equilibrium as Nvidia isn't nearly as good.

However, if there are more Nvidia miners then AMD, it will equalize with other algos. Curious to see where this goes.

Depending on how the compiler did, it might be able to use some work.

in the coming weeks - farmamd will start to take shape again - as long as the repairs to the cards are all done AND the nvidia side of thefarm is fully functional ( even if its not completely built yet ) ...

i have a three month contract to start - so next saturday will fly out - but will continue the setup of the physical side every chance i get ... the ecosystem is coming along fine and the development progress is moving along well also ...

@wolf ... if you are interested in restarting with me again - thefarm will become a three tiered system over the next 6 months - which includes gpu - x11 asic - scrypt asic ... there is no issue with it being a four tiered one by adding fpga to thefarm also - and designating the amd and fpga side to the wolf design fund ...

we can discuss in much greater detail if you are interested - as by christmas this year thefarm will be ontrack as a heavy hitter in the hash arena ... which will make 2017 a very interesting year for us ...

all of these projects are now under the umbrella of - chainworks industries ... on irc - #chainworksindustries ... logo and graphics are being finalized now - domains are set ( http://chainworksindustries.com/ ) but not currently functional - and the business will be started here in australia very shortly after the setup ... incorporation of the company will start soon after the system is fully functional ... so a great deal of time and effort has been put in to the backend setup here - and a great deal of money ... next will be the setup of thefarm to its best capabilities - and you are always one of the top developers on our list ...

a new thread will be started soon - that will eventually explain all areas of this ecosystem ... which granite ( grn ) will be the flagship - and is currently under redevelopment as we speak ...

im off now - will be away for a few days while the server build for thefarm is being done - and the infrastructure is being setup for the expansion in the next 6months ... i wont be back until that is completed - so its fulltime for me until then ...

as for anyone interested in helping - or even joining 'theteam' ( there are three of us now ) - let me know ... there are two positions available to start from the ground up - and build the ecosystem ive been planning for almost 2.5years now ...

let me know ... back in a few days ...

I had a quick look and could only add 1%, I don't think there is much room for improvement but if the coin keeps being more profitable than others (which I don't think will happen) it might be worth investigating further.

Hello folks - sorry for the off topic but I think this the best spot to ask.  I am in the process of acquiring my first 1070 rig.  What motherboard do you suggest?  I was previously using the Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 and would like to upgrade to a newer one.  I will be running no more than 5 GTX 1070's and I use EVGA 1300watt PSU's.  I have an AM3+ processor (black edition).  I am looking for a stable board.  Thank you in advance.

IMO, the board is not that critical as long as it has enough PCIe slots and you use powered risers. But don't go too cheap because
you still want good components. You could even stick with your existing mobo, 4 PCIe IIRC, unless you really need that fifth slot.

Talking about 5x 1070G1: I have strange result, factory clocks they give some hash ( 160, 33 each- Lyra2Rev2). OCed they give less, even only + 50 gpu.  With only 3 they go over 40 each with gpu+110. PSU is Chieftec 1250 gold, new, so it is not. Temps are 60-68 c.  Anybody found this ?

@AzzAz
Monitor the real GPU frequency, maybe for some reason they drop down, also push the power limit at max....

As far as I know, there's no other Sia miner using CUDA code.
Maybe you could ask in the Sia thread:
