Here we go again, the "regurgitating brothers" in action. Popcorn time  Smiley

Stealing my lines bro.

jackpotcoin has a unique algo that was not copyed it was simply called jackpotalgo, you clearly weren't here in 2014, or you would now that 750 were the king in summer 2014 until early autumn...

i also posted my address in the verification thread to prove, bi signing, that is indeed not a bought account, so your argument are stupid...and anyway my style was always the same, you should provide proof that my hacked was hacked not that i should provide that it wasn't...

wasting time talking to a troll again...

Jackpot coin is sha-3.

Oh yeah, 750 was big in '14? Did you ever hear of Scrypt? Since you're a pleb and you basically don't understand algos, how about Litecoin, have you heard of that one? How about Scrypt ASICs that came around because the market was so big?

Nvidia never could mine scrypt well. They always put out 60% of the hashrate of cheaper AMD cards, even at the end of scrypt.

Unless that address was posted somewhere years ago (which you can still edit and change) it doesn't even matter. Only forum admins can verify that by looking at posting history.

BTW green energy IS NOT cheap. It's one of the most expensive forms of energy. Coal, oil, and to some extent natural gas are much, much cheaper. That's why places like China burn a fuck ton of it, also why they have air quality issues. Green energy is ridiculously expensive due to density and development issues (nuclear is the cheapest, but it isn't subsidized and most people don't consider it green).

jackpotcoin has a unique algo that was not copyed it was simply called jackpotalgoh

I can confirm Jackpoint coin was so so so soooo good for 750 Ti. We beat the hell out of all amd's ! It was such a great coin I loved it! Pity it died so fast! It was fun , suspense and pleasure to mine it!

JPC was fun, don't know if it still is alive.

When I built my first 5x750ti back in early 2014 nothing was profitable with my 5/ 6/ 7 series amd rigs, they were good as space heaters.

That feeling when I started mining with maxwell, first I thought I must have fucked something but numbers started rolling. rm450 psu with 5x750ti and not even close to hit it's limits.

AMD was good till the end of '14. It went negative in Nov... Kinda like what's happening right now with Nvidia. You could mine x11 a bit before private kernels took over in the fall. It wasn't till spring '15 people were selling Scrypt ASICs.

Jackpot died right away. Quark mining lasted quite a bit longer then Jackpot.

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

JPC it was epic, I've hit the jackpot a couple of times with a couple 750Tis Grin

Glorious days

It's pretty clear that this time we've got too much hashpower, it's coming a profitability armageddon. A testament to the ones that doesen't understand the term efficiency

If 470/ 1070 turns to negative yet another crypto has failed.

LBRY, L2R2, eqm, and dagger are all providing $0.80-1.00/day/card after power costs. any single crypto falling wont have a huge impact at this point

not great, but Ive already made about 75% of the 1070 card price back since i bought them for LBRY. even at $1/day they will be in the green by springtime/summer

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461

And a blast from the past 11-2014 NICEHASH. Grin  I think 2 months before that scrypt was paying .6000 btc/gig.
And the 750ti does  .235 mh/s scrypt algo.

I bought my first 750ti in April 2014. When Max coin keccak algo was released Christian made a build for it. He said if he would have waited 2 weeks and mined it with his 750ti's (February 2014) he would have been a millionaire. I remember buying Max coins for $8 a piece. Cheesy   1 month later I started to mine.  Cudaminer.

Oh yeah? Because you think Lbry has the same amount of hashrate as Ethereum? All algos aren't created equally as far as the amount of support they provide miners.

If the decline holds steady, 1070s will be negative in roughly 2-3 months.

Scrypt was paying a lot... That's what I started out mining in '13. Nvidia cards didn't come remotely close. A 280x or 7970 was producing 3x as much at the time.

this bensam guy...talking about scrypt being profitable when there were asic already, it's like saying that in 2013 mining btc with asic was more profitable, who care, we were talking about gpu here... this guy is a farce

nvidia was very profitable at that time and a 750 was very cheap, especially second handed, not to mention the instamining up to summer 2014, that make everything else not worth mentioning, but i was doing it with amd thre...

and yes my address was posted a year ago...

there is actually xcm to mine with 1070 which is very profitable if you have the pallas miner that do 30MH, well if you are a coder that can reach that perf

You talking about the little PoS ASIC gridseeds that were buggy, inefficient, and hashed worse then a 280x? Yup... Sure... There weren't real ASICs till '15.

Who cares? It's what we're talking about. Mining is influenced by all hardware.

It doesn't matter how cheap they are if they didn't produce hashrate or there wasn't volume available. Scrypt was huge at the time, as was mentioned, you could mine three times as much with a 280x then a 750ti. It wasn't till '15 that Nvidia was remotely decent, CCminer and SP definitely helped make that happen.

750tis were new in '14. There was no 'second hand'. All GPUs are cheap second hand though depending on how new they are so this doesn't even matter. 'Instamining' has nothing to do with 750tis, AMD, or Nvidia. You could do that with any hardware.

That's neat... last year was 2015... Not 2014 or 2013. As was mentioned you can always edit such posts as well if you own the account. The only one that can verify that is a forum moderator or administrator that can view post history.

No. Have a nice day.

In other news, has anyone looked at improving performance for Nvidia cards on Cryptonote? That's still a huge market. Zcoin also needs a GPU miner still... as they're still using their weird ass version of Lyra three months later.

Epsylon seemingly has fallen off the map after the release of Zcash.

hassles aside, my point was simply that there was profit with nvidia and it was not small at all, if then was possible to have better profit with amd or asic, was not the point of my discussion to begin with so...

i bought my 750 a bit late so there was definitely second hand on the market already, i remember this when i was purchasing them, but i purchased the new brand because i don't like second hand stuff on HW tech

And my point was that there wasn't and Nvidia was nothing more then a hobby project before '15. Occasionally you made some money, but that's definitely all AMD in '14 up until the end. Don't argue or contradict someone else if you're going to decide you want to go to lolipop land and decide you weren't even arguing with them to begin with.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeForce_700_series#GeForce_700_.287xx.29_series

They were released in Febuary of '14. Perhaps you did get one used... You wouldn't get any sort of a deal on it, much like buying a 1070 used right now (which you talk about resell value all the time of Nvidia yet here you're talking about how you got a good value buying used).

HAH... I'm a small child because I refuse to listen to what someone else says? Here bend over and let me fuck you in the ass. Oh no, you don't want me to do that? You're a small child. Good logic.

The weird thing is, neither of you are part of this discussion yet you're trying to stick your dicks in it. If there wasn't a discussion, we wouldn't be talking.
