ETC is different because the existing Etherum owners got free ETC when it forked. ZCL is a copycoin that restarted on block 0 and give 100% of the payouts to the miners, so you get a fair distrubution and avoid dumping from the investors/developers.

The nethash is currently

780 235 Sol/s (26 100 gtx 1070's with the genoil miner)

the diff was very high before, it's good that the price is catching but i don't like to dump on c-cex. too damn slow and not enough volume

profit is a bit better than zcash now, maybe it's worth a try

And Nvidia miners for Equihash still suck dick so it doesn't even matter! XD

That aside, the coin is a stupid idea. People invested in Zcash because what the development team made it and is planning on making it. But any excuse to start a coin, right?

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

yeah zclassic another clone, with higher diff, and less profit

-NO FOUNDERS TAX
-NO SLOW START
-TRUSTED PARAMETERS

Smiley

70BTC volume in 24h on C-Cex. Will probobly be listed at poloniex and bittrex soon...

Zcash calculators doesn't work on Zcash classic because there is no slow start.

It's the laziest copypaste fork ever. I'm curious why c-cex added it even without a block explorer. That shit used to be mandatory.

Also, the no slow start part is kind of ridiculous. It's basically a delayed premine for people who made it and now pushing it.

Its distribution is probably worse than ZEC even with the 20% tax.

Not your keys, not your coins!

But atm one RX480 is doing twice as much as one 1070 with os miner. So I don't know if I should cry or laugh about it.
Sad to own Nvidia GPUs and see the community breaking like this.

We can only hope, claymore is working for a fee and his only interests are GPU with more mining share which is AMD, he care none for NV he may be even paid to not release NV version as he was with ETH miner in past

Shame there is no some way so miners could participate in dev funding, none AMD nor NV farms are not included in any way, only if they pay over fee or private miner

As a matter of fact, AMD is really shit compared to NVIDIA when it comes to equihash. Just there aren't any public miners that really utilize NVIDIA cards the proper way. I played around a bit and I got almost 50 Sols/s on GTX 970. I also heard from some other devs that pascals are even much more efficient. Trying to get a some pascal card to test this in practice.

Yeah, some devs claimed that NV pascal cards can do at least 130-160 Sols/s, and sad no devs release any advanced zcash miner for NV cards yet, but im sure it will come later just like it always does  Roll Eyes

You can get $8 a card by using the opensource miner and mine zcash classic with nvidia hardware. Zcash is currently being harvested, and the profit is injected into zcash classic.

does anyone have a good -l launch config for a gtx 960 on ccminer-cryptonighht ... im getting better results from a 750ti..so i must have something wrong

GTX 960 AND CRYPTONIGHT--

I get somewhat similar results.  The GTX 960 is slightly faster, but not by much.       --scryptr

960 likes compute heavy algos, not sure if there are profitable ones atm.

960 made 11MH on eth when 750ti did 10MH.

RESULTS ARE SIMILAR--

I never bothered to purchase a 950, but I may invest in a 1050ti.  My 5 card 960 rig was the first thing I had mining Ethereum (ETH), it produced 50MH/s and was  stable.  It was already too late for the 750ti when I began mining ETH., but it would mine at ~4MH/s or less.

I am curious about how the new 1050ti cards will perform.  The low power requirements, 75W for a 1050ti vs. 60W for a 750ti, make it attractive.  Good PSUs are expensive, cheap ones die early.       --scryptr

its 12mhs on eth as its 128bit - you may oc memory and get more but that is what you should expect initially

$8 a card what card and with what miner? the open source is doing 0.003 per card at best, which is hardly $8, more like $2.5
