guess not , hope the sickness haven't returned, bad weather atm I've got some problems with my testrig and the latest driver with the latest modded exe. When I quit the program, the driver crash and the boost clock doesn't work. So I'm stuck with a core clock of only 1500Mhz. I run without oc. Works fine when I reboot the rig. Anyone know how to reset the card without doing a full restart?

Hello SP_ Certain Nvidia driver releases have these problems when running multi-card rigs (I've come across 2 drivers releases on Windows 10 that had this problem) - so trying older drivers should resolve the issue. On Windows 10, Installing MSI Afterburner or EVGA Trix reset options.

Yeah i indeed got this issue with some drivers and/or some miners, not a big problem, usually i just reboot, 20sec, and it's back mining, nvidia inspector restart driver is also pretty good, but doesn't work 100% of the time. I actually have this problem with most ccminers version i came across, since yours is based on it, im not surprised.

But when you are developing, it's impossible to work with. Yes, the problem is in most of the ccminer exe files. I've fixed it now by downloading the latest driver 376.33 and do a "clean install"

Anyone try gtx 1050/ti , i think Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti is really a good improvement over the GTX 750 Ti in terms of mining performance, you could probably get the a bit higher mining performance from 4x GTX 1050 Ti as with 6x GTX 750 Ti, and the power usage will be lower. You could still build a good mining rig with decent hashrate using 6x GTX 1050 Ti GPUs and do with a 600W power supply just fine. Of course, as already mentioned it might not be the best choice for serious mining operations where GTX 1070 would perform much better in terms of performance, but for home miners it could still be a viable option… just like GTX 750 Ti did when it first came out.
I think the GTX 1060 3GB would be a better alternative solution, they're cheap and hash pretty well for the price.

SP take a look at improving SIB for Sibcoin. Decent sized market that has grown quite a bit in the last week or two.
|
I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

I have a 1050 ti and think they are great cards for long term mining, and with many algos they get double the speed of a 750 TI provided the code has been optimized for them. I am also getting a regular 1050(2gb) in a few days to experiment with a few older non-optimized algos just for kicks. So far from what I can see its a nice upgrade to your 750 TI while allowing you to use all the old parts from your mining rig. They are not the power houses the GTX 1070s are but for a long term or hobby miner wanting to stay updated with the latest tech you cant go wrong with these nice low power cards.

Tpruvot version is very well optimised. No it isn't it was slow, but alexis replaced the streebog part (which took 90% of the time) and now it's fast. of course it can be faster with better x11 like in your fork, but it's just some percent on the whole hashrate. and using alexis streebog on your fork is just a little more than copy-paste.

I think I will do it. Use the alexis streebog in my fork. and gain a few percent. But I think Alexis's fork is faster already for SIB. right?

x11 gost is very "hot" algo. Getting 14.3 mh with Alexis miner and have 64 degrees, with ZEC for example 58 ( same clock settings ) . And look on power consumption curve - it's very variable from 75% to 115%.
