Everyone wants shit for free. People bitch and moan so it's 'free'. Don't be afraid to charge for your work. Real support doesn't come from people who only give you kind words so they get free things. SP I'm going to once again suggest using a dev fee as I did multiple times. Even in work that uses other peoples work you can have a dev fee, the source just needs to be provided. At 2% there aren't many people that are going to go out of their way to remove it, especially with readily available binaries. OR add it as a option that's enabled by default and can be disabled with -nofee or something along those lines. You can charge for work that uses others work as long as the source is available. So there really is no difference between giving it away 'for free' or just having a dev fee already built in with source available. If people choose to remove it you're still earning more then you would be otherwise. Good that you're improving equihash though. yeah make it open source, i don't think you need peanuts of 0.05 from random dude that will resell it to another random dude, you have your farm that will cover everything
That literally has nothing to do with his work. His farm will regardless of him 'donating' work to other miners. Matter of a fact it earns more if he doesn't. Also earning .05BTC from one person is more then earning none from everyone. the point is that he don't need theat money, he probably sitting on millions already, he is making 150k a month for your info if i had that income i would not care about money anymore certainly i would not care about 0.05, or are people really that greedy here? i would not be surprised It's not your job to determine who does and doesn't need money. You have no idea how much he's making or the costs he's incurring. Stating someone should do charity work 'just cause you said so' isn't really the way things work. How about you donate oh 30% of your earnings to developers constantly. I think you've earned enough. no i don't earn enough at all, i don't have 1000 gpu mining with 150k return, as i said if i was rich i would donat easily, but it's not my case, otherwise i would not even bother mining probably... I'm sure there is someone else that thinks you're 'rich enough'.

My mod is best on 1060 3gb cards. 300MHASH with 80% tdp and oc. No crash, no bullshit. The 1070 is slow. 430 with 80% tdp.. the gtx 970 260 with 80% tdp
Pascal edition
My 3 card testrig is around 4.4% faster than djezo's excevator. (same config and clocks)
I think ccminer's thread handling is working bether on multicard rigs. With ewfb and the excevator hash is lost when you run with 6 cards.
My mod is running 4 threads pr gpu on the g1840 celeron
edit:
My kernel is performing bad on the pool with ccminer. Nheqminer is working ok.

Sometimes it's important to ask your boss why you are doing what you are doing. If he can't give you a good enough answer you should change job...

True, that is why I have been my own boss most of my life. I just hate this whining about profits, if I remember right you were whining too about 16 months ago. You were told to stop that whining and instead do something to earn more. You did, much more than that 30 cheap donated btc. You don't need to whine anymore, now there is a new generation whining. Must say I don't like your modded business model, in my perfect world I would like everything to be opensource but knowing how almost everyone here is only after profits... couldn't care less. edit: OT, Japan is ruling btc trading volume, why doesn't it show on unconfirmed transactions?

Yup, instead bend over and take it up the ass. Don't raise a fuss when something is amiss. Critical thinking involves looking at problems and attempting to solve them, not ignoring them and not talking about them. You'd learn that if you attended any sort of higher education. People who 'whine about whining' are usually just primary school grads that still think in the same mindset. That's why we have Trump as a president in the US and people are getting angry now that they are encountering issues that effect their life that the 'whiners' originally 'whined' about. Of course I'm sure they don't think about it that way. There isn't always a answer to your problems through your own hands. Group work teaches you that. You can't always figure it out. Also weird how you act pro-business, but when it comes to SP earning money you're pissy about it. Weird.

I've been running 1.5.76 happily on Ubuntu 16.04 with Cuda 7.5 for a while now. Tried to build the latest 1.5.81. Ran into and resolved a gcc-4.9 issue as well as g++-4.9. Compilation always crashes at Makefile:2073: recipe for target 'Algo256/cuda_groestl256.o' failed make[2]: *** [Algo256/cuda_groestl256.o] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory '/home/mdb/ccminer-1.5.81' Makefile:1621: recipe for target 'all-recursive' failed make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/mdb/ccminer-1.5.81' Makefile:564: recipe for target 'all' failed make: *** [all] Error 2 Also tried 1.5.79. No joy. Any help appreciated.

The code is infected with gpl..
With nicehash $$$ backing and the angry french dude, I don't think I will release it.. I am the best optimizer in the world.

ccminer is "infected with gpl" too, yet you found no obstacles selling it without disclosing source. Equihash has a Memory leak when running more than 1 thread pr gpu
Fixed in the sp-mod
There is no memory leak inside my solver, perhaps in ccminer implementation?
