My other node claims to be at block 483166, with a 13 hour delay. The AWS node is at block 482634 with less than 2 hours delay.

So, what's the correct one?

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Let's wait for the dev to take action. I don't think we have any other option  Undecided

My coins reached maturity today but the wallet won't stake because it's out of sync.

So that was not the problem because I started to have issues yesterday, more than a day before my coins were due to reach maturity

Odd mine staked 3 days ago, but immediately stopped syncing and never got any confirms.
Could not get it to work again till I redownloaded the blockchain.
Then once it caught up it staked but this time got 1 confirm before stopping once again....

Right  now, I'm connected to:

85.229.7.226
65.50.96.63
50.149.214.130

Ha, one of those is my ip...I can't connect right now myself unfortunately. Showing 11 active connections but it's sitting at 44 hours behind.

If i remember well the last time we had this issue it was due to someone staking with the wrong time (i.e. few secs or minutes early vs. the rest of the network). Could everyone check their system time and adjust if it's not correct?

In other POS coins, lack of time sync generates an orphaned block, not a network meltdown.

Besides, I believe everyone is using NTP on the machines and therefore the chances for a time gap are minimal.

Stiil, the fact remains; my nodes are both out of sync! And they have the correct time...  Grin

I'm connected to:

"74.118.195.134:16281"
"70.176.24.131:16281"
"85.229.7.226:16281"
"65.50.96.63:16281"
"70.190.105.71:16281"
"85.245.102.195:16281"
"98.178.133.39:16281"

So it might be a time error on a client while minting? Hmm, I see. So no one is in sync atm?

If no one is in sync, then the network will never recover! Right?

Only the dev can answer this but he appears to be too busy to pay attention to PHS.

I sent him a PM but got no reply...  Sad

In the aftermath of Cryptsy's problems, Coinmarketcap removed the exchange from the price list.

http://www.coindesk.com/altcoin-exchange-cryptsy-takes-trade-engine-offline/

Now, we don't have a single market listed for PHS.

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/philosopher-stones/#markets

I mean, we can still trade them in Cryptsy but what for, if we can't even sync our wallets?

I wonder if Crypsty will rise once again or if this is really the end of it?

The real question now is; how long will it last?

I was synced yesterday, but only for one hour or so  Sad

PS: One of those nodes is mine (54.194.207.66:53132)  Grin
