Just bought a C1 batch 3 without the cooling kit. Am now trying to decide what to do about cooling. Started buying from Syscooling but choked on complaints of non-tracking and the shipping fee to the US. I want to have some cooling ready when the miner arrives.
Is Syscooling fast enough and dependable?
What have most others here done when faced with this decision?
Thanks in advance for advice here.

Buy another one from bitmaintech and ad to order 2x cooling kit. Or build C1 into the air-cooled C1. To this , you need at least two Antminer S1 radiators. (a total of 4 pcs) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=914354.msg10410900#msg10410900

Original shipment is fast from them. But you will pay a premium for this service. I suggest getting another pump, and a molex to 3 pin power adapter. My original pumps 2 out of 2 died. One got lost for a month in mail other just a tad over a month. The pumps are just horrible no way around it.

Well Tupsu's suggestions won't work. I'm against the wall on power used while still keeping in mine that I need AC this summer here in rural Georgia so a second C1 this order is out of the question. If fact I've been buying power supplies and getting ready for an S5 but gave up after considering when btc reward might go to 12.5/block-discovered and that the S5's have remained Sold_Out well more than a week after the holidays ended. The S1 fan air cooled solution I don't have the parts for.
I'm looking at these: "G1/4 120mm Aluminum Water Cooling Cooler Computer Radiator Fans For CPU Heatsink " on ebay if actually all inclusive, grill, radiator and fan. Intending to use 3 in a window and a fourth outside with water flowing over for evaporation - the last's fan expected to be sacrificed from water exposure over time.
I'll have to buy some fittings and pumps. I expect metric threads and don't suppose Lowes will carry.

myself i would look for a DIY kit for computer cooling or buy the necesarry components 1 by 1. buy 3*12cm fan only radiator, or bigger! if you have problems with the heat in the summer, maybe you can buy big car radiator, long tubes; and place the radiator outside! winter is back? place the radiator inside

Thanks. I appreciate that. I will find an alternative. ----------- Okay, just bought this: PC Liquid Water Cooling 360MM Aluminium Radiator Thick 35mm With Red LED Fans on ebay for $89.99 free shipping. Waiting on a reply on the $18 single radiator that appears to be sold with a fan and grill. I have a good length of thick air hose from Lowes so I just need a pump. Correction, probably need G1-4 barbs. Okay, bought a pump from China. If it doesn't arrive in time I'll run to the junkyard and get a windshield washer pump to use while waiting that I can later use for pumping water atop an outside radiator.

Maybe they meant to say 500 hour?
))))) any more problems with the aluminium corrosion? Bitmainwarranty always replaced my bad pumps quickly. Even gave me an extra one just in case, so I cannot complain about the warranty service.

Everytime I used one of those pumps I would get air pressure build up, foam, bubbles, and noises. After switching to that no name pump on Ebay the loop has been sealed, no bubbles or any type of issues. Strange. You are lucky then. With ordering direct for syscooling like told in batch one I had to deal with them on RMA's.

With ordering direct for syscooling like told in batch one I had to deal with them on RMA's. Except for a connector loose - casual contact caused separation, fixed with tape - my one pump has been just fine. And my distilled water has been running quite clear. If it hadn't been required this time to buy two I would have gone with it again no problem but listing a single purchase was told Out of Stock. Not even sure if buying two would have made them available.

Adding $119 (cooling kit) and then another $130 (modified kit) to fit an S5 is an additional $250. That alone is almost the price of a C1. Too much work and money involved there just to save 200 watts per month.
You save 800watts (200wattsx4) and hash 0.6TH/s faster. its not 200 watts per month its 200watts every millisecond Your electricity is billed per KWH (kilowatts per hour) every second minute hour hell if my C1 ran 800watts for the whole month I would be loving it...... that would be like 30watts a day hahaha wouldnt that be nice this is one of many electricity calculators http://www.rapidtables.com/calc/electric/energy-consumption-calculator.htmLets take a Antminer S5 for example 590w @ 1.15Ths thats 14.16kwh per day x .11 per kwh (my cost)='s ($1.55) from my experience every TH earns a bit over .01BTC per day for 1.15THS (antminer S5) 0.01244386 BTC now of course this depends alot on the pool you are mining in. Pool luck etc. eligius pool and similar pools will pay the above at slushs pool you could earn more or less depending on how many blocks they find with 4.5 ths @ slushs pool i make .011 every block wether the block takes 20mins or 24hrs So on the good days they find 7+ blocks on the bad days like today they only found 1 block in 24hrs horrible !!!!! at eligius 4.5 THs brings in 0.05316924 BTC per day Dunand didn't read the entire thread/situation, hence just throwing numbers out there, confusing everyone. I know what it cost to run an 800 watt device with my electrical costs at $.10 to 11 kwh. I'm still in the black and next month may even make more. This thread apparently just died out and either everyone's C1's have died already or they are running perfect. It is a little off to see no activity in a products thread that supposedly sold so many. Very strange. And you can bet the ones that haven't sold yet are running right now. It is impossible to find 8mm/10mm hose in America. What would be the equivalent in standard on those dimensions? I know 8mm - 15/16, but what does 10mm come out to be on a popular coolant hose size? 3/8 inside diameter. Thanks. Does anyone have a link to the right size tubing for these setups? FrozenCPU is out of the question of course since they aren't doing any business right now. 3/8 must be real close to 5/16 because on a box of Mastercleer tubing I bought a while ago (N8 8mm\10mm) right on the box is also said ID 5/16. I bet both tubing sizes will work, one just may be a bit tighter. Well, if anyone has a link to the correct stuff in the US, can you sling it in a response? Thanks. Performance PC I have used them before for Liquid cooling my PC http://www.performance-pcs.com/

))))) any more problems with the aluminium corrosion? As long as there are no copper parts in the loop and its all Aluminum there should not be galvanic corrosion. Only occurs when mixing metals in a loop copper or nickle are fine together just dont mix with aluminum.

Such a strange incident. I switched over my coolant to Feser One, blue color which has been just fine. But on one miner the blue color started to go away and turn clear. My other miner still has the dark blue color. I'm wondering where the heck the color went?
Also, will there be a new firmware upgrade on these to support the new features in cgminer? The latest firmware is using 4.6.1 and I think cgminer is like at 4.8 or something.

any recommendations for a decent replacement pump? My first sys pump was doa and the XSPC I bought that has the resevoir/pump in one (box) seems to have burned up or otherwise is dead. At this point I'm not too interested in investing more into the C1 for a pump. I never found much available on the market for inexpensive pump/resevoirs either. If the pump ran at a much higher speed than sys pump is it possible it burned up due the radiator not cooling well enough?

I tried getting a cooling kit again. I put a C1 and a cooling kit in the shopping cart, went to checkout, removed the C1 leaving only the cooling kit, selected shipping method and destination, then upon confirmation was informed the cooling kit is Sold Out. And although I read somewhere that if one ordered 2 they'd be available, I tried getting two for a little over $152 and again was told they're sold out.

Bitmain - will you continue to support and Update the software for the C1? We are still missing features of newer machines. Also can we get extranonoce.subscribe subscription support added?
