I thought all was going well. Went to miner it had coolant leaking out the power cord spot. This picture is after a lot of cleaning up. But I have a faulty pump. I guess I need to figure out RMA process. Anyone know what email they use for RMA? I sent to watercooling@ysun.net hope that is right. [Assuming the pump still operates...] Its going to be quicker and cheaper for you to pick up some modelling putty / plumbing putty / silicon gel and patch the leak that way. I did this a lot with XSPC pumps. |

Thought I would report a successful custom water cooling setup for two c1's. I used some parts I had lying around from some of my old watercooled PC's. 1 D5 Pump with EK Pump Top 1 560mm Rad GTX560 8 140mm Fans in push-pull Both C1's in series (refer photo and some screen grabs of the temps which are remarkably even across the two units) Currently both are overclocked to 262.5 with the default voltage. http://s29.postimg.org/yaj021rfr/ant_c1_1_2_wc.jpghttp://s30.postimg.org/sm1b5gki9/ant_c1_1_2.jpg |

8 units in series? How is that possible without the water being extremely hot by the time it reaches the last few units - what is your outlet temperature? more importantly - what pump and radiator are you using to achieve this, and is it water or a specialized coolant? |

From the look of the hose (which I'm assuming of course is the input) to the top middle stack C1, it looks like it's pretty cold. Possibly condensation, or just dirt from the floor ...  Though we shouldn't assume ...  |

Mr Hjelc's setup is really phenomenal.
My best guess is that he is using a big water reservoir and a strong submersible pump.
So, while mining he is also supplying his building with hot water.
25 degrees on the miner means the water that is circlulating is input to the system at close to freezing temperatures.
Regardless, very impressive. Mr Hjelc, due to such high concentration of power and chance of sudden steep rise in temp in case of possible failure of the cooling system I would hope you have taken all necessary safety precautions.

:shakehead Noob, if you use well water, dont do direct heat exchanging. You will fuck up your waterblock and contaminate the water vein. Do it right and do non direct heat exchanging. You can keep your waterblook alot longer with proper coolant too. |
