This is but a numbers game, no real stores for BALLS except the store to buy BALLS staking hardware to dump even more BALLS.
And also, it would be hard to cooperate with a store wanting to accept it, because it spits money.
Where will it all end, anyone?
It is a living experiment and you have to see the fun.
There where several forks and maybe a new fork is needed to continue.
The very high rate you can get with one block wallet is not good for the amound of coins but I think iGotSpots find a solution to continue with the fun. I find it instructive what he is doing with BALLS and 10K and it are nice development for cryptocurrency.
Maybe one day he changed the protocol that giga POS-rewards are not posible.
The application for BALLS is pure fun for gaming pruposes I think and maybe you can get some BTC in future if this is crystallized.

Congratulations on having a lot in paperweight value.
Question yourself, who is the real one making money here?
Indeed, the hardware seller.

which hardware are you talking about?

iGotspots sells PI-devices with BALLS and other coins he develop.

I'm talking about the BALLS hardware staking device.
Here is it's thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=828734

Poooooofffff... How much does such a device cost? Guaranteed profit for that seller.
I'm the needle to the balloon. You have to be a kid if you cannot point out that marketing technique.

Let's say $30 per device * 100 users.... Cash!
It's a very sneaky method!

A total $3000 is not much for all the work he does for crypto.
And the divices have also other application I guess.
I is a good method to secure the blockchain and I think you can use your needle elswere to troll.

Spots does a fantastic job with these coins, they are the most fun I have ever had in crypto and I do not own one of the hardware stakers.
You sound like a whining entitled freeloader. Do you think Spots should manufacture and deliver his hardware to you for free.. really?

These devices are mobile computers and called Raspberry Pi.

I have 5 at home. And currently using two of them for mining.
They are available locally too.

For PC just download the SnowBalls-qt wallet and fill it with some coins.
Then the mining is the POS-reward securing the blockchain.

The hardware seller made money on my computer 5 years ago, and as I only stake when the computer is running anyway, it doesn't cost me anything extra to stake  Grin.

Ok, here's apologies... Smiley But if we want the coin to succeed, we need REAL Buy support, that is, to buy other goods, as has been stated above by another user.

Right now, the Buy support comes from users who are new and want to give it a try, and or users who speculate on it.
As long as BTC remained calm BALLS performed Ok, and the speculation part of the coin wasn't noticed that easily.

Truly, I want BALLS to succeed. But therefore, we need stores accepting BALLS.
But which store is accepting a coin that prints money? I really hope for this coin to succeed, as the devs have put so much work in it.

I hope it's not one nifty scheme, and I wish all BALLS and it's users success..
Sorry, but I freaked out on my marketing backgrounds Wink

Just trying to see the big picture on things.
In either good or bad way, BALLS plan is genius.

When the stores recieve the BALLS they can stake in 24 hour so they can print money themselfs.
Ok they want to eat and spend $ on other things you cann't buy with BALLS.

Maybe creating BALLS is not forever but a method to distribute crypto to large communities.
After a while the protocoll changed again and more sustainable value can be created.
But for now is is just fun to have some BALLS and let them grow.

I hope you're right and they find a way out.
A store is about dollars, monetary stuff, mm not sure..
I agree with you, BALLS is fun and I've reset my coinAge too Smiley

Sorry for having been playing the devil's advocate.
My thoughts were as follows:

1) Create a device that will sell in a hungry market.
2) Setup a hungry market, to do this we deploy a crypto coin with high PoS returns, to attract investors.
3) Sell devices like crazy to the hungry market, therein is our profit. No external stores possible because we know money can't grow on trees.
4) Lastly, we don't care about the unfolding rat-race where users win/lose some BTC on speculation.

BALLS would be a two-layered mechanism if this were true: Device-selling, and crypto rat-racing.

There's a difference in being a troll, and trying to find out the 'why?' in stuffs.
The dollar is not a playground, it's value comes forth from being backed by gold, but not anymore, now it's a convention.
But if you Print Money, that money devalues. It's happening in real life now, watch the news.

You have valid concerns, but I think you're looking at this with a narrow perspective. Here are my thoughts:

Only when more users acquire the coin then spend it will its value rise. Simple economics, right? Vendor support does not solely guarantee a coin's value. It seems bitcoin gets new merchants every day, but its value does not reflect that. Probably because most just cash out for fiat, so it's a wash. The Bitcoin economy will take years to fill out, but when it does, the value will rise with demand. It has to, considering the static supply. And we'll all benefit when that happens, assuming exchanges become seamless. And considering the pace of development, I don't see why that won't happen. I say let bitcoin blaze that trail; we'll work on interoperability.

Another way to achieve success is to make the coin interesting and fun to hold. I think Spots has done a good job differentiating this coin from other high-stakers, The fact that he's making money on side projects  proves he has a continuing stake in its success, not to mention his personal stash. A flourishing coin means more hardware and cloud staking sales. He is very transparent about it all, though he could use a PR spokesman. Smiley I also like that he's not afraid to try new things, push the envelope if you will with staking. This is interesting stuff that catches peoples' attention. If you're worried about hyperinflation, we only need look at dogecoin. It's near 100 billion coins and stable in value largely due to its robust community. This coin needs to be there, so attracting users is important.

I got into this staking biz because mining in general is a losing proposition but I still like the action. Staking gives me that rush but without all the stress and hassles. I like the ROI on some coins, not so much on others. It's becoming a game of knowledge and patience and I'm still learning. It is somewhat consuming and I have more invested than any hobby, but I'm in for the long haul. Price drops don't faze me as long as fundamentals remain sound.

In closing, cryptocoins in general are still a young phenomenon that I believe has huge potential. Many people have yet to participate and will do so for varying reasons. It's almost a guessing game at this point, which coins will succeed, much like gambling. Only time can decide. As with any largely unproven investment, risks are high but so may be the rewards. It's fun, exciting and dangerous. Good luck to all.

Absolutely right, I understand you but still this is the speculation-part, based on temptations, predictions..
There will always be people buying and selling pushing the coin up or down a little. But we want it to succeed, we want genuine BUY orders meant for a purpose.
Some people may remember FloridaCoin on AllCrypt, there were millions for sale at 1 satoshi and no buy orders, the supply was enormous.

Community must grow like you say, it'll save us all. That's a way! Right on.
Let BALLS be big again, throw in an addy for the local news papers. 38% interest rate and compounding possible.

Why sell? It's hard to put a sell order and wait? Or do they know something that we do not know?
