Been mining for 30 mins but all my stats are 0

I doubled checked the address and workers.

They are slow to update stats. Give it a little more time.

Can anyone give me an idea of what the payouts from antpool have been like lately?
I just got my first S5 today and have an entire rack more of them on the way and wondering if antpool is a viable option for a US miner.

Presumably Antpool works. 

However, it's not what it's advertised to be.  Bitmain uses false advertising for Antpool.  As someone stated above, it's close to the largest centralized pool out there.  That's a bad thing.

Might I suggest ckpool (http://www.kano.is/)?

It's not a hack, it is control. Control is the antithesis of a decentralized network.

From Satoshi's whitepaper (underline mine):

We define an electronic coin as a chain of digital signatures. Each owner transfers the coin to the
next by digitally signing a hash of the previous transaction and the public key of the next owner
and adding these to the end of the coin. A payee can verify the signatures to verify the chain of
ownership.

The problem of course is the payee can't verify that one of the owners did not double-spend
the coin. A common solution is to introduce a trusted central authority, or mint, that checks every
transaction for double spending. After each transaction, the coin must be returned to the mint to
issue a new coin, and only coins issued directly from the mint are trusted not to be double-spent.
The problem with this solution is that the fate of the entire money system depends on the
company running the mint, with every transaction having to go through them, just like a bank.


We need a way for the payee to know that the previous owners did not sign any earlier
transactions. For our purposes, the earliest transaction is the one that counts, so we don't care
about later attempts to double-spend. The only way to confirm the absence of a transaction is to
be aware of all transactions. In the mint based model, the mint was aware of all transactions and
decided which arrived first. To accomplish this without a trusted party, transactions must be
publicly announced [1], and we need a system for participants to agree on a single history of the
order in which they were received
. The payee needs proof that at the time of each transaction, the
majority of nodes agreed it was the first received.

The second underlined part is where miners decentralize the agreement on what transactions are valid or not. Moving beyond a 51% attack, what if you had a 100% attack? Then you have a mint. 51% is the hypothetical threshold where this becomes not only possible, but perhaps inevitable...

I can't believe they still haven't revised their topic header to be more accurate & less misleading. I'm not sure what's worse, them making blatantly false claims - or the "suckers" who believe them  Tongue

So many pools jumping on the p2pool bandwagon with fake "decentralised" claims. Don't they have any genuinely true marketing gimmicks?  Angry

I am unsure how it is implemented.

Hey guys what's the best payout protocol for the antminer pool with only 3 TH/s. I'm just connecting now with the normal stratum+tcp://stratum.antpool.com:3333 method which is PPNLS shares. Is it more effecient to try the solo method? What the biggest difference? You're still getting a cut of the shares from one single block anyway. I'm not sure with only 3 TH/s p2p even on a different node would work very well would it?

I like to use ckpool, http://www.kano.is .  Great pool, honest operator, and can get very lucky at times. Smiley
I would never mine anywhere else.
