Dear Antpool,

WAKE UP!  It is no fun watching the price of bitcoin go above $308 right now and your luck for the day was only 76%.

I need to earn some bitcoin and pay for those expensive machines of yours.

If you need constant you can change to PPS on antpool.  Its nice having one pool with multiple options.

I believe it's 2.5 percent for pps.  So cheaper than F2pool even.

I USE PPS I MADE %5.64 AND $6.21 IN THE LAST TWO DAYS USING 2.06 TH/S. PPS is very constant or you can use PPLNS and play with fools luck.


and yes this is on ANTPOOL.

@BITMAIN wtf is going on with your pool, your stratum servers are the worst i've ever seen, my miners are switching to my backup pools. Please create some stratum servers for EU customers, this is a fucking nightmare, i will not even comment the worker stats on your site......wake up we're in the middle of 2015 invest money in that page/pool, its shame to be one of the biggest pool

Yes, you can create up to 50 different Miners (User IDs) and each one can have it's own group of workers (miners).  Each ID can be either PPS or PPLNS (or SOLO) separately and all of them are accessible under your one Bitmain login account.  I use this feature to run a separate group of Hosted S5s for my daughter to her BTC address.  Go to Account/Settings and look for the "Add User ID" button.  After you add a new ID, you will see both your main ID and your new ID under the Miners pull-down menu when you look at your stats.  Be careful to only add one new ID at a time because I don’t think you can ever delete one if you don’t want/need it anymore.

There is quite a lot involved but here is a simple way of looking at it...

PPS (Pay Per Share)
If you want a steady, reliable income with no variance the you need a PPS Pool.  This would technically have luck at 100% minus any pool fees.  The AntPool has PPS fees of 2.5% so it always pays at 97.5%.

PPLNS (Pay Per Last Number of Shares)
If you are a loyal miner, stay with one pool and feel lucky (you could earn more or less, lots of varance) then you want a PPLNS pool.  The AntPool PPLNS is at 102% for all time so over the life of the pool it has paid out about 2% better than PPS (4.5% better if you account for the fees).

I had 0.035 on mine and it dropped to 0.01 without any payment received. I did receive a payment of 0.025 last evening. It is one of two things happened:

1) there was a delay in applying the payment against the balance.
2) we were ripped off.

I am thinking it is number 1.
