Antpool is down for me too. Just after I wrote my last comment I looked stats in antpool and payment was done then. I hope it covered all that missing time.

And now it's online again.

That's been happen to me for two days, I moved all mine for now .


I even think my payout have been wrong can't say, i just moved them for now and call it a lose . no biggie.

YEA but my point is the speed are not what the miner show me doing i moved them. I get the right speeds at other pools like others are reporting.

I can screen shot them and the S5 UI if needed i spent hours tiring to figure why there so low steady or not at this pool , i also didn't post it all of how bad it got i was at 4th or so  at one point then it dropped to nothing that was when i had 4 S5 here . so it may be steady at some point but not up to speed.



 any way GL  no biggie  really .

 just move them report it, keep a eye out, when things looks stable again, move back .

What I meant is, that by the nature of pool hopping, you generally mine on a pool for the bad luck times, then leave before the good luck times happen, resulting in more consistent bad luck rounds that your shares are counted towards.

That's really not how random events happen. If you flip a dime 29 times and it comes up heads, the next time is still 50/50, the same as if you switch to a nickel.


Unrelated but I am switching to p2pool anyway. It's not about the payout but about the principle for me. I was disappointed that the Antpool p2pool wasn't working, especially after they trumpet about their contributions on the website but I'm happy running my own anyway (nothing like freshly minted coins).

Anyone else seeing a lapse in the antpool stats? My miners are dropping off the stats page but when looking at the miners they show being online and working.

I started seeing this happen last night....but thought it was just one of my miners. 

Then I saw it happen more...

then no antpool.com web site.

and of course all the chatter here too.

I got a payout last night. It seemed like it happened later than previous payouts yet the time on the antpool site is about the same. I'd need to look closer into it though as there appear to be about three timezones in play.

My payout came in this morning about 10 hours past the normal time.  No big deal, just unusual.

Yeah, it was a little worrying to me as I had changed the payout address but all good now.

This happens occasionally, I presume when a script bites the dust on there wallet server.  Factor in time zones and we see a modest delay in the west.
