They really do need to fix the worker web interface...
Please email them, they need to get a wave so that management understands they are going backwards for the pool.

It would be nice to see some updated stats, just to show people how much the worst offenders (antpool, f2pool & eligius) are screwing over the Bitcoin network & everyone who relies on it.

I check this thread from time to time and am amazed at how many complaints I see! People, point your machines somewhere else. The only reason people continue to mine at this pool is greed and self delusion. They like to see daily payments and they like to be part of "one of the biggest pools", but this pool is bad for bitcoin and ultimately bad for all of its users that are not Bitmain. Yet people continue to point hash here when there are numerous options that are better for the network (and ultimately better for all of us), and still get you paid.

I don't know if I would say pool is bad. It was a great pool with PPS and before update was a nice layout. But now I feel like they don't care about any of us by making advertisements we cant even read for many. It's like they forgot about those of us who don't speak Chinese.

People who care even a little about bitcoin and their profits would avoid this pool by a mile.
Bitcoin would better off if all the stupid miners @ Antpool would should their miners off.

Wow, would you look at that. He just called 284428 miners stupid with 6 taps of his keyboard. Cool! (not me though, I've sold all of my equipment to other stupid miners!)

If it was "stupid" people it would be much less. Look at their luck over time it is nicer then some other pools. I had never had an issue until they did new design. Which I guess is a cosmetic issue. I can see why some want more people to mine on smaller pools. But with PPS I can count on a constant stream of BTC, which is very nice.

I have pointed my machines somewhere else. I got fr@cked over every time. Bitminter got DDOS'd to oblivion. BTCGuild had a sensational losing streak until they announced they were closing down (which they didn't anyway). Ghash.io were consistently averaging 80%. There aren't plenty of other options. I would quite like to go back to bitminter, and I've heard good things about slush. But Kano is ...Kano. Eligius is BFL. The rest are so tiny that you risk being wiped out by luck. To talk about greed when you're dealing with a currency is a bit.... especially in this environment. Besides, nobody can point me to a good BIP101/XT pool. So I am waiting.

It would be nice to see some updated stats, just to show people how much the worst offenders (antpool, f2pool & eligius) are screwing over the Bitcoin network & everyone who relies on it. As of block 376918 AntPool has added 561 empty blocks to the blockchain of the 8094 total blocks it has solved. That's 6.93% of all the blocks they've ever solved. Edit: Here is the list of the offenders. Worst on top. I have purposefully left out any unknowns and have just reported the pools that have submitted empty blocks.

Edit: It's no surprise which pool was the most Bitcoin friendly pool - BTCGuild. Eleuthria - you are sorely missed

But this doesn't really make it any clearer what there is to do about it for a miner. According to this chart Bitminter and Slush are in the same ballpark. Anyone who knows anything about their current stance and execution on the issue?

They are just copying eligius ... https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/issues/6525Basically either crappy pool software (too slow handling block changes) or ... they fall under the same heading as all the other pools generating lots of empty blocks My pool doesn't do it and averages much faster at handling block changes than eligius ... which is why in the past year my pool has only had 1 orphan. (total 2 orphans since my pool started, the other was my pool's 2nd block a bit over a year ago)

There are plenty of other pools out there who have never submitted empty blocks - they just are not part of the picture above. For example, kano's pool has never submitted an empty block. Neither have BitFury or 21 Inc or ghash.io.
