if i am correct the avalon asic project just sold another 40 units today.
that means about 40 units times 100 BTC each.. that people are going to have to send to avalon.
that also means that avalon will more then likely sell those immediately...

keep an eye our for a couple 1000 btc dump in the next hours.
hmm?

That might already happened...

I am not sure. The time frame also matches a rush to get BTC to mtgox and wait for 6 confirmations.
I did not expect it so soon.

avalon was just testing and failed to tell everyone i guess. so the orders were fake.

6 confirmations to sell was the likely reason for the timing.

you'll see
you knocked on the bears door, that's what you did.
price will fall well below 12$. the block reward halfing will have no effect on price, and then people will panic  Tongue

I agree with the block reward halving will have no effect, but I think the pricing is going to continue to go up until we reach that point as everyone is anticipating it causing the price to increase.

Not everyone is anticipating it causing the price to increase...

My guess is that the only aspect of the block reward halving that might cause the price to trickle up is that there will be 3600 fewer freshly minted coins per day.  The portion of those coins that were being immediately sold on a daily basis may or may not be large enough to affect supply and demand.  We'll see!

Bid support is dying down. New bid walls are not filling the gap. Watching carefully.

I doubt it unless i want to pay for asics with btc.
