The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

But answer me this, why does the season have anything to with the price?

Schools are out in the summer, so college kids have more time to browse the web.

Right - because college students are the ones funding the last few million needed to move the price from 5 to 15.  Roll Eyes

Also, one man's winter is another man's summer.

i would rather assume the people tossing around those numbers/values are early adopters who fleeced all those college
students last summer when it went up to 30ish. For every player there is 1000 small fish.

Does anyone personally know of a player tossing around 100K that put that type of cash on an exchange to play speculation with?
I dont. But we do know of some early adopters around here who have that kind of money.

i estimate another 20K will probably be unloaded by monday morning with very little buying.

Monday is also a U.S. holiday, so we might have a slightly longer "weekend dip"  Lips sealed

Edit: If you zoom out on the charts, it seems extremely unlikely we will go under $9.50. So for me personally, if I wanted to minimize any potential losses, $9.50 is all in, $10 is 75% in, $10.50 is 50% in, $11 is 25% in.

crap i forgot about that even though i have to stay home from work to be with my son due to that holiday.
time to rethink things.

someone is out there right now deciding if that bid wall at 11.70 is high enough to get out right now.
i expect it to fall shortly. i am waiting to see that happen before i place my bid.

Partially, and its also from the resistance at $13 being too strong for bulls to push through. People are probably changing their mind about wanting to own bitcoins right now.

i do not think it is all glbse news. it could very well be one of the guru's on their mailing list turning bearish today and people
are following his advice with 50K of btc...
