Really funny thing about it is that yesterday I've put some buggy version of my mtgox service by accident on couple minutes. And this version have some massive glitches, like such absurd walls. And now this wall is really there. Like someone looked at it and think, "umm actually that's a good idea"...

I think in not too distant future, we will look back and say 'there used to be a time when $1.5M would be enough to cause widespread consternation.'

You guys are getting trolled by a reporting error.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

I am so confused right now...

This happened the other day.  I didn't even bother looking into it because the odds of it being legitimate are tiny.  Odds are it's a glitch.  I really don't think it's anything to get worked up over.  MtGox's feeds get messed up from time to time.

normally I'd agree with you, but both mtgoxlive and btccharts are showing it

its not showing up on bitcoinchart's market depth, could be due to some lag in updating the market depth?

we'll know if a few mins....

darn, i can't down far enough to $10.70 on Clark Moody's to see it...

it takes a while.

It shouldn't take this long.  Also, I thought MtGox set up seperate feeds, some even requiring a service fee or something.  bitcoincharts is probably on a feed that isn't glitching right now.

Even if this guy is completely without skills, for that amount he could hire a highly skilled team to write him the stealthiest bot to snatch cheap coins ever and still be in the plus.

I can't rationally explain it, except maybe it's a move to stir up the markets in a big way.
