Its panic time.
must quote

The 13.80 wall is back and fully fortified for whenever the price gets back there. This is tiresome.

not sure why we aren't letting them win?

no one wants cheep coins?

Who's "we"?

the bulls

the bears appear to let the price rise, and then take big dumps, and repeat

why don't the bulls let the price fall and then Buy big, and repeat

Big players are sellers. There is no way to short this market, (not really anyways, not like back in the bicoinica days), so they employ pump and dump.

buy & hold is easier and probably more profitable

Only if you think it's going up long-term and want to have funds tied up for a long time. I was thinking of someone wanting to milk the economy for a profit now, reliably, although with a degree of risk.

Selling out to advertisers shows you respect neither yourself nor the rest of us.

It's kind of interesting that we're getting all these dumps, but total MtGox bid depth has stayed pretty much the same, or almost immediately recovered to pre-dump levels.  I think that's suggestive that the dumper is immediately turning around and placing bids.  I think these dumps are just winding the market up even tighter for an explosive breakout.  For my own benefit I'd love to see even more dumps.  If we could get the price to tumble hard back into single digits, that'd be awesome!

Also, a consistently good indicator for impending large moves down is S3052 being publicly bullish  Grin

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

But what if not and we go below 12?

I still like my prediction of $14.44 this year but won't rule out a new year high before new years Wink
