29.9->30.1 may be the biggest wall we see for a long time.

Im quite surprised that it doesnt seem to be fake actually.

You really can't tell until someone starts eating at it. Right now, it seems like a decent play, hover around 29.80 - 29.90, come close to the wall but don't touch it, and let the lemmings put up their 200-400 BTC for sale every time you pull back a bit.

At some point yesterday I believe there was about 15,000 sitting waiting to be bought at 30.00 / BTC

But anyway, you are right, won't know how real it is until someone tries taking a chunk out.

it could be that 1000's of bitcoin are being slowly sold off just below 30, with about 100,000BTC total to sell.... (read: wake up, the real walls are not shown! )

You can say the same thing for bid side of the order book.

Gettin through these walls are harder and harder with the price so high. Takes hundreds of thousands of dollars... Will it happen via many small players or one big fish?

a couple of days ago the wall was 13k, then 11k, yesterday we touched into the 9k area, now we are down to 7k. I don't think we will break $30 for at least 3-4 days yet, but i think it will break through

It did look like the previous walls were pulled on the way up, but this one is staying. That's kind of an ice cool way of selling 10-15K:

If the buyers start eating into your wall at 29.50 move it up to 30. If they get tired of chewing on your wall, make it a little smaler and support it with a buy wall. It's a bear trap used for selling?

Is there such a thing as a bull trap? I just thought they got a bolt pistol to the head when they were done?

Those aren't living that long, not this one.
I posted a picture of our bull above, he's bleeding and waiting for the matador to put him out of the misery. It's a cruel sport.

For sake of the show we have to wait for his arrival and besides divine intervention or alien abduction he always comes.
Get some roses.

Unless another bull comes along and gores the matador.  Then it will be a running of the bulls.

Well bullfights are rigorously ritualized so I doubt it looks like the bull is on it's own.
Accidents happen but when they do the bull is shot from a distance and the matador hospitalized.

It's so quiet --- before the storm Smiley All Mega users opening new accounts by MtGox... transferring money... Wink

Is there strong demand for mega accounts?

I would if I owned as much as pirated films as my Chinese buddies, there is simply no domestic website offering so much storage space yet, let alone encryption.
