My girlfriend "I don't know how to read charts, but that looks bad." Made me lmao irl. It's probably a combination of what's being talked about on this thread lately. They really can't release a feature without completely fucking themselves over and Homero sure as hell can't do an honest Q&A.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Why would someone dump only on Paybase and drive it so low when they could spread around? I think it's a Paybase issue, and some panic selling or arbitrage on Cryptsy (and maybe other exchanges, didn't check).

Curse you and your "logic."

I'll tell you exactly what's going to happen.  All the Gawtards are depositing BTC at Paybase right now to buy some cheap xpy.  Once they get several thousand BTC deposited Paybase goes down and they keep the BTC.  This is the robbery right now.

"cold storage for paybase?"

I sent a small amount of BTC for the hell of it and that's exactly where it ended up after it hit my Paybase address.

Someone apparently observed Paybase order books being drained after Payflash launched:

https://hashtalk.org/topic/29487

Still doesn't prove anything of course.

And this is an interesting perspective:

if this is a paybase bug- they will probably reverse the trades on paybase just like when they overpay BTC on hashlets.

Curse you and your "logic."

Ha ha, just speculating like everyone else here. Let's see the excuse the CEO will come up with. Soon (TM).

As for Gyft, apparently they have a reseller API, so GAW probably didn't need a "partnership" here. Just dump XPY for BTC and pass it on to Gyft, great plan for Paycoin adoption Smiley

GAWCEO: The market is being manipulated. We are tracking it down.

As opposed to yourself manipulating it? He should shutdown Paybase everytime he makes a Pre-Announcement lol.

Oh i now know why Cryptsy went down in XPY value.

People who didn't have BTC liquid had to dump into cryptsy... AT WHATEVER COST to get BTC... because they needed btc to send to paybase to buy XPY at cents.

THat is why Cryptsy dived.

Some of those people though, didn't get there btc to paybase in time... and Paybase is now up, they cannot move BTC out now, because there was BTC withdrawal issues even before it went down, AND they lost alot of XPY due to dumping at that cost.

There's gonna be alot of angry people, now, and when they cannot withdraw btc out of paybase... this is gonna be awesome to watch

Typical GAW... release a new version with new untested features and break the whole site.

Bring the site down

Then run a quick untested fix in production and s**** up everyone's balance.

Bring the site down

Rinse and repeat

Business as usual!

Another mistake. After such a huge crash, do DO NOT GO BACK ONLINE in 30 minutes.  You spend at least a few hours to days looking for other surprises, and to repair any damage made.

And I just created my account and sent BTC over an hour ago and all my BTC are there. Screw the faithful customers. lol. What's weird is it shows the Paycoin price as $1.36 and when you go to buy XPY and hit MAX it fills in a BTC priceof .0065677. So you have to manually figure out how many XPY you can get for however many BTC you want to trade if you want to trade all of them.
