Now is the time for ex-moderators with a decent sense of morals, like they say they have, and why they quit, to disclose their NDA to the SEC and actually make up for all the wrong they've done and help propagate. They were paid employees of GAW, as one of them has stated already, and I think they now, more than ever, need to save the current victims and future unknowing victims their money, time, and emotional well being. You can absolve yourself of the negative karma/sin/whatever you want to call it by blowing the whistle on this and you will gladly be welcome as a hero. Just food for thought.

Hi Waffle,

I have no issues with the NDA actually being reviewed - it was actually from a Dog Sanctuary originally I think - a copy is here https://www.geekforaweek.co.uk/GAW/NDA.doc for anyone to happily review (I am not going to post the signed one as it contains Personally Identifying Information to myself, and I am sure you understand not to put all your details on the internet Wink

Yes we were paid by GAW, however, I would stretch it to say employed, acting under orders, yes, and if anyone asks, it was $150 per week that Moderators were paid - possibly still are paid - I dont know (Josh actually said we were paid on Hashtalk at one point, someone asked him the amount, he never answered).

I have no issues releasing the documentation, chat logs from Slack and Google Hangouts (I wrote a screen scraper so I could catch up on conversations as I was asleep when all the decisions were made) as well as additional spreadsheets and emails I have to the appropriate authorities should they request it.

My original reasons for leaving were as stated - I could no longer believe in what I was seeing, unfortunately when you are "behind the scenes" you see a completely different aspect to the one you see in front as you can well understand.

I hope that answers some of your questions.

Animo

Careful with .doc files

They are a notepad file, made executable by
the embedding of benign or malicious script using Object Linking and
Embedding (OLE).
..doc files are not pure data files... .doc is the extension used for ms
word documents and are thus OLE2 objects - they are, in effect, their
own file system (and have file system troubles like fragmentation) and
can contain interpreted programs called macros... and those macros can
be infectious...

just paste the text here

Searching doesn't work, so I'm sorry if I'm repeating things, but here's a quick summary of the recent stuff that may or may not have been lost:

Joe Mordica not listed as CTO on gawminers.com anymore and Eric Capuano not listing GAW as his employer on LinkedIn anymore.

Paybase reversed some transactions from the cheap XPY/Gyft debacle, Volder's efforts to reunite with Gyft kind of backfired.

So what did everyone do with all the spare time while this hellhole was down?

I was spending some quality time on forum.gethashing.com, trying to get a feel for the broader sentiment towards GAW and XPY. Looks like many are ready to stick a fork in it with varying levels of violence, although there are still significant bags being held, e.g. in HashStakers. There is also some hope that XPY can be resurrected, although I've yet to see a coherent and doable plan for that.

Actually went outside and walked around in actual fresh air.

Started following additional and new leads regarding other agency investigations.

Spoke with the contact from the SEC who put documents in my hands about how they aren't going to be doing that again for a while.

Let's see... I guess that is it Wink

This putz again trying to shore up his shitcoin

https://hashtalk.org/topic/29905/my-take-on-gyft-and-gaw-everything-simplified/2

The owner of gyft clearly stated a few hours ago any fuckwit can sign up. There are no special merchant accounts and wholesale accounts and contracts and agreements, both this moron and Homero keep saying to make it sound like they are special.

Any punk company can sign up you dimwit.

Not only that if you signup yourself to Gyft there are bonuses 1 point if u you use CC 2 points for paypal and 3 points for BTC through paybase there were no points.  Unless GAW was going to keep all the points, may sound ridiculous but man who knows.

I gotta say, whatever Josh is, he knows how to spin molehills into mountains.

Molehill: Here is this API we have, but we only have 2 little merchants accepting it right now... and for the foreseeable future.
Mountain: Paybase API! Now 400000 merchants all over the world have the possibility of accepting Paycoin!

Molehill: We have a new feature that allows you to buy, through another Vendor, stuff from the places we said you could buy directly from. (where you could still buy directly from, just not with Paycoin)
Mountain: Introducing Payflash! Powering your shopping with Walmart, Amazon, and Target and 100 of thousands of other shops!

Any many other examples.

I can do it too:

Molehill: Here take this, it's too bloody heavy for me. It's a rock. it's a fcking burden carrying it!
Mountain: I gift this to you! It's a part of the cornerstone that has built Earth! Cherish it!

This thread is fascinating to me: https://hashtalk.org/topic/29873/paybase-accounts-unlocked-details-inside/42

In some states, there is a statute called civil theft that is a derivative of the criminal theft statute. Essentially, it allows a private party to sue another for theft using the theft elements spelled out in the criminal code (as opposed to the conversion elements derived from common law). If a plaintiff can prove all the elements, then they get to access a special damages provision that MANDATES a court (so, no judicial discretion on damages here) to award treble damages. If you've lost a lot xpy - note value currently, consult an attorney, and start playing 3x leverage.

EDIT - I should clarify that theft is actionable even if the stolen property is returned.  This is because use of the property can be valuable (so, the temp deprivation can result in damages) and because there's a public policy of deterring theft.  In my state, if someone deprives you of property for 1 second, its actionable. Of course, your damages may be nil, in which case you qualify for the statutory minimum which a few hundred bucks.

EDIT 2 - Not legal advice and I'm not your lawyer.

Cornerstone Lifegroups sounds like a cult... especially with all of the "weird" in their titles.

Homero is a fool.

he has a very common affliction on the internet called "hot ears"

he sits there trying to think what everyone else is thinking and saying about him, to the point he blushes and his ears heat up, and feels the absolute need to address something that is only in his mind; which is exactly this.

What fool.  Cheesy

This internet  newb and his newb followers can be manipulated to the point of no return, should one so be inclined.   Wink

That was also too well written to be straight from Josh.  I would bet good BTC that his lawyer(s) wrote and posted that.  Too much "we uphold the law" to be anything more than a preparation for the legal storm on the horizon.

Well that was fucked up. Where'd everyone go? lol

According to the official twitter page of this site a hard drive crashed and they lost a day's worth of posts.

I was joking. I know what, apparently, happened. Of course thoughts of the paycoin army attacking did cross my mind.

Hacking with their Vic-20's? Yeah, I don't think so.

Paycoin saves Bitcoin https://hashtalk.org/topic/29900/paycoin-saves-btc/2

he already laid the groundwork in their last pre-recorded q&a bullshits by saying something along the lines of normal investors see investments as "5 year" projects to see returns vs crypto wanting it in a month.

that cult seems to be comfortable with being repaid, with their own money, in tiny bits of coin month by month from the hashlet scam so i'm sure they won't care here either.

My latest theory is that hashtalk consists of paid shills, a couple idiots and the rest are on disability, they don't value their money because they have a lifetime monthly paycheck

Just because people don't agree with you makes them paid shills, or idiots or living on disability?    Man you have serious problems between your ears.   Roll Eyes

Just because people buy and trade coins for a living and to profit with on the side and don't value a coin at all and trade it on hype, doesn't mean they are trolls for selling paycoins for 18 dollars.  Nor is having a different opinion fudd which the Jamestown army of hashtalk believe this place and every basement blogger is out to get them.  Bitpop is pretty much spot on, but I can add Young to the list as well but young and idiots go hand in hand so..you might have your bases covered.

The missing pages contain a lot of information about the Adam guy who was listed as a Pastor of that Texan church, who apparently has a prime controller - then it was noted that this scheming Adam character edited his details.  You would have to be an idiot to believe that paid shills lies.

You are suffering from the same blindness Bitpop has.   Everyone is different there are many reasons people use HT.   Just calling everyone there names shows a profound mental issue.   It is one thing to point out possible issues.   It is a different thing to just throw slurs at a group of people you don't even know.
