Ok fair enough just trying to think of something to take this scam down.

BTW, Cryptsy makes $200 per day from xpy on trading fees at the current volume, I'm thinking more than that can be raised.  Hell, we'll even take xpy as donations and dump it on bittrex!

I'll start with donating $20 in LTC.

I'm afraid that won't work. Cryptsy lists a bunch of coins that are obvious scams and I don't see how they would delist a very profitable one. Not to mention that even if they delist it, trading won't stop and there are other exchanges and GAW's own Paybase. I'd say better have a somewhat civilized market like Cryptsy, as an alternative to Paybase.

Well I applaud you for coming onto here at bitcointalk.  As you know it's all about open discussion.

The main thing you have to remember, is the reason it's not run like a good company, is because it's not a company.  It's a ponzi scheme.  He doesn't have huge successful businesses he sold, no house, no fancy cars, no $100M, $10M or even $1M.  He's just trying to pull off a scam, but you already know that.

I'm sorry you have money tied up in this.  Again, that's why this thread is here to keep others from losing their money.

Glad you made it over.  Maybe you can somehow talk some sense into a few remaining htalkers.

HAHAHAHAHA this from hshittalk

"The claim was 10k accounts a DAY....
Strange then that the forum gets quieter, the posts get fewer, the wallet numbers don't add up and overall things aren't quite as rosy as we are being told.
Not to say the next step wont improve the current situation though eh?"

Yes, that would be me. Wink

I have many friends that have staggering amounts of money locked up there.

Now that the moderation there isn't quite so rampant, still harsh but a tad better, I have taken the opportunity to ask some pertinent questions.

I feel that, as someone who runs their own BTC based biz, have been the Head of the Blackcoin Foundation and trodden the boards of the BTC exhibition and Conference circuit throughout last year, and will be doing the same again this year.... I have a pretty good view of all this. I've read every single page that's been written on here and HT and get.hashing

If I can get one person to challenge the status quo there, then its a job done Smiley

Expecting your supplier to perform as stated is not unreasonable, my customers expect it of me and I would equally expect a hard time if I fail them.

When a Company fails to accept even the most basic of challenges to their practises this should be the warning, the clarion call to run like F**k

I am trying to help others see that their money is at risk, a risk they hadn't anticipated or been made clearly aware of when originally investing their money.

I think you have me mistaken for a GAW convert, I'm not, far from it. Yes I have a couple of 3 month cashtakers as I mined the crap out of HP for a 10 day period and cashed it all in when they swapped over to XPY. But seriously invested, hell no, I saw so many red flags I thought I was in Bejing. The cashtakers were always to be written off and anything they produce is considered a (very) small bonus.

And coming here.... I've been here all along and for a long time but thank you for the kind words all the same Smiley

I have spent a lot of time researching JG and his history and I believe I can talk with confidence about why he shouldn't be trusted with other peoples money. However, I won't lecture and I won't force my view on those that don't want to listen... being a fan of GAW to be is like being an alcoholic, giving it up HAS to come from the person hooked on the juice.

With that said, not everyone there has sipped on the kool-aid, some people genuinely believe this has a future, some of those are even my friends.  We agree to disagree on the outcome of all this and as such its all kept pleasant and cordial. Just the way I like it. Why lose friends over something as silly as a virtual coin eh?

Well, why lose houses and spouses over something as silly as a virtual coin? Only people who trusted GAW know the answer to that.

Calling a virtual coin "silly" is what I like to call a "healthy attitude." I'm surprised you can dismiss Paycoin/Paybase as such and still keep things cordial with those who have staked too much on this gamble.

Ah. Good that they have more money than sense then. At least they're not putting their entire family at jeopardy.

I believe I've earned my stripes in this business and having been burned and rewarded in equal measure means I "get it"

I was actually being a little facetious when saying silly virtual coin but you get the drift.

These people are grown ups and have made conscious decisions with their money to be involved with GAW/XPY. Some of them are former Blackcoin stalwarts too so I know their history. I'm not their Dad.

They're good people. They know where I'm coming from and vice versa. Respect is vital in this. I can disagree with them without losing respect for them.

As for the others on HT, I wouldn't really want to go there as its a minefield and I would clearly upset someone. I'd rather educate and inform than make people feel like sh*t about a bad choice.

Oh trust me, I have beaten that one to death with them.

It ultimately serves no purpose to keep banging on at them about their choices and my disagreement with that choice. Like I said, they're good people and I'd rather not lose them over someone as lame as JG and his "[knc] inspired masterplan"

Ive seen several people remark on Josh having ADD and I have to comment on this...

As a person who has adult ADHD, its honestly not something that should be joked about. I have no idea if he really has it or not, but the stigma associated with ADD and ADHD is usually framed around laziness, unintelligent, or people that can not follow through with something, and this is honestly far from the truth. People who have ADD and ADHD think and react differently than others who do not have it, and those who have it have decreased abilities in some areas while also normally having abilities significant accelerated in other areas.

Here is an interesting article someone shared with me last night on the subject http://www.healthline.com/health/adhd/iq-adhd#2 Smiley

Not a single medical journal to date includes lying and stealing as being a symptom of this "affliction". That may indeed be a good read for those that are interested in that but again; not a single medical journal to date includes lying and stealing as being a symptom of this "affliction".

I don't know where you've gotten this stigma about ADD or ADHD from. I've never associated or heard it associated with "laziness, unintelligent, or people that can not follow through with something." I've only heard it framed around a learning disability and that it's difficult for sufferers to pay attention for extended periods of time. However I believe the affliction to be misdiagnosed and over-diagnosed in children and young adults for the sole purpose of prescribing medication pushed by Pharmaceutical compoany reps. It's also a bit of pop-psychology as even 3 family members of mine that are all psychologist's agree. The fact is that many children and young adults don't pay attention in school. They don't because they are children and young adults and school is not that interesting to many at those ages. I understand there are those that truly suffer from it and I am in no way discounting that.

True adult ADHD really has not much to do with "being able to pay attention for extended periods of time".  It deals more with being unable to read social and facial cues, detachment from emotional aspects in relationships, the ability to "cubby-hole" issues and not deal with issues, and the ability to hyper-fixate on single elements over extended periods of time to the detriment of other aspects of life. The response about "not able to pay attention" is more of the pop psychology that doesn't understand where true adult ADHD resides on the Autism spectrum.
