Yes, this email conversation took place.  No, we did not end up doing any part of the idea.   This was long before any of the drama took place, and even then I was not comfortable with the idea.    

I have no interest in GAW and they have no interest in Cryptsy.

Reading over this forum really reaffirms my decision not to frequent here.   There is so much misinformation and out of context information that this has really become more of a tabloid forum than one that actually helps users and the community.

Well, Mr. Vernon, unlike you freely dictating and controlling the development of the environment when constructing your databases and other IT related projects, this is the real world with real people who are asking and discussing real questions. Avoiding these valid concerns while attacking the platform you grace your presence with serves no fundamental purpose nor does it help your position in the matter. It may be easier for you to peddle your new mining venture that leases hardware with no chance of reaching ROI within the timeframes you overcharge for to unsuspecting customers, but that pure marketing with no substance logic will not work here.

Unfortunately, sir, you are not qualified to dictate who or what "helps users and the community" based on your proven track record and continued actions.

I strongly suggest you take a step back and work more on your business ethics than trying to waste more of the real community's time.

There are some of us who have ethical and moral objections to what has transpired. I've personally already spoke up about what you have done recently (the PC thing was discovered in the middle of an interview, also I will say I tried to stay objective). I guess its going to be printed sometime this week.


Anyways, for those of us that actually do help users and the community, we expect you to do the right thing. And doing the right thing means performing those acts both in public and in private.

Hard to believe someone so stupid can actually be a doctor. He simply can not figure out that a merchant accepting a Crypto does not relate to what the price of said Crypto is, only that it remains at a relatively stable price on a daily basis so they can exchange it without loss. Or maybe his brilliant sell Gold & Silver for less than he paid business model required Paycoin to rise after he accepted it.
