Yep looks like coin is dead in the water right now, everyone stuck at block 277, GAW's pool is down.

http://pool.paycoin.com/tbs

That was quick. One of the more exciting launches in recent history Smiley

If there was any doubt about their ability to manage a massive payment network... there you go.

The funny bit is that they forked without actually making any reasonable changes to the source at all. Few variable tweaks, added some place holders for an opcode and a special staking rate for "prime controllers". Imagine how bad it would have been if they'd tried to make Hybrid Flex as well, nightmare!

The whole coin was dead an hour ago, they just now came to their senses and shut the pool off to stop wasting hashes.

Tofugear from hong kong did it. Coin has been going for a while.. its only 22 satoshi value a coin but i'm looking to use it as an ingame currency for a plugin with our gaming community. Not to "make money or people to be rich" but more as a way for people to have a little value in their games and use it to donate to servers etc. I was contemplating dogecoin but i want to stay away from anything that gets too big value wise.

Paycoin's code is to revolutionary for the internets to comprehend. The internet wasn't compatible with it.

Am I seeing that correctly??? Some people bought 190,000 Paycoins for a fraction of a BTC???

I had it out a few times with this fucking moron when I was on HT. He tried to tell me how brilliant and educated he was. He makes and asks some of the dumbest, most ignorant comments and questions. These are exactly the type of people Josh wants investing.

If anyone has any spare SHA256 rigs and doesn't think PayCoin is worth the risk you can still take advantage of it. Point your rigs at one of the rental sites - NiceHash/WestHash (easiest), Betarigs, or MiningRigRentals. Prices are booming.

WooHoo I'm plugging in my Block Erupter again. ROI hare I come.
