Somebody go post on his twitter the link and in all caps "SO HOMERO, IT'S 5% NOW HUH?"

Seriously, you could try to do some math, it's good for your brain.

Bitcoin hashrate: 299,090,788 GH/s

Cumulative hashrate on Paycoin 20-30 minutes after launch: ~2.35 Petahash on just the main pool, not counting solo miners and other pools

2.35/(29.9-2.35) = 8.52% minimum hashrate that switched over, not counting solo miners and other pools

Basic math. Do it right.  Smiley Smiley Smiley

HAHAHAHA. Ladies and gentlemen, the average Paycoin user. Claims basic math is easy yet can't multiply or divide properly. Case and point. Thank you for confirming all of our thoughts.

If there was any doubt about their ability to manage a massive payment network... there you go.

The funny bit is that they forked without actually making any reasonable changes to the source at all. Few variable tweaks, added some place holders for an opcode and a special staking rate for "prime controllers". Imagine how bad it would have been if they'd tried to make Hybrid Flex as well, nightmare!

How are they enforcing prime controllers?

Correction: it's 50,000 btc/paycoin.

With 11m paycoins worth $192 trillion USD, GAW is officially the richest entity on earth.

Well yeah, but maybe not within an hour of launch? I don't remember their launch, just their annoying ninja forks later on.

This whole Paycoin fiasco is amusing mostly because it was so predictable. Overhyped, tight deadlines, quickie fork of an old coin, what could possibly go wrong. And it doesn't even have any of the innovative features.

Seriously, 10% of the global hashrate?!!? Do you know how incredible that is!?!
To all the FUDers and scam-calling Trolls, this is clear proof that this is not a scam.
While there have been ups and downs, that much hash power shows it's not just 'HT zealots' (thanks Reddit) that are mining.
There are a TON of people wanting to get involved, wanting to mine, and wanting to own XPY.

What happened today is probably the best news a coin could have.
I agree, but there are also a lot of greedy people. most will dump at the first chance. They will spread FUD all over, but secretly try to make money.

I don't really care, GAW has just doubled my money again, I had a good hunch that he would give wallets to all scrypt miners, bought Multis under $4.00 and sold today at over $7.00, I have rinsed and repeated this several times now, the market place has made me a shit load. So thanks Josh for shit coin as it has made me several thousand dollars richer, and thanks to your team of followers.

The average Hash Talk user can't compute the simple math of 2.35(paycoin pool hash power) divided by 299 (total btc network) multiplied by 100 (for decimal to %) = .6%? Let's be generous and say they had 4ph/s across everything, that's about .8% of the total network.

I would guess he quit as prison is coming soon. Did anyone that mined today get any coins atall? I mined for 5 hours before it went down and didn't even get a drop of a coin. I am guessing gaw intentionally stalled the coin so they could sell there stock at 5000:1 ratio and finally buy the hardware they have been missing for there orders for the past 3 months.
