no i have the 4.0.1 wallet, its just slow as heck, im at 704* and should be 707*.. grryea all but like 2 are 4x wallets how do i del the 3x connections>?
there will be an updated wallet released within the next 24 hours fixing some issues that have been brought to my attention. v3 connections will be terminated when trying to connect to this wallet My wallet 4.0.2 is still using 50% of my cpu... And an important question for you, I have more than a year weight on my coins so i don't want to send them back to me for losing that(maybe I can have a little more pos because of this), is that necessary for coins to pos? Thanks! P.S. It would be nice to update cryptsy wallet because I have some coins there and I want to withdraw them for pos.

Cryptsy has been contacted several times about wallet updates. I've got a few hundred million coins tied up there too.

minorthreat4 You might not need a conf file with the new version? If you do then I imagine that asking to connect to old clients will potentially cause problems for you. I'd try without conf first and then if it's needed, start a new one from scratch to make sure your not asking for vintage connections.
DragoStefan I'm guessing that your weight won't matter much if it's earlier then then the POS conversion at ver. 4.
DragoStefan menlatin No sense in hounding exchanges for updated wallets until we have a solid release that we know will be sticking around for a while. If you were Cryptsy, why would you update after multiple wallet releases have already been revised?
It takes a while to build a nest. But we will roost soon enough. FLAP FLAP FLAP.

I believe they are still on a ver. 3 wallet. Ver. 4 doesn't wanna play with ver. 3. 4 birds are better then 3. They will need to upgrade. FLAP FLAP FLAP (+FLAP) ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

XD It's the secondary pc but still it's very high for a wallet, have opened many wallets and none with so high cpu usage... You said you got that fixed, because of the pos time. And please answer me the question about the weight of pos! (no offence for the previous answers to this question, I want the dev's one).

Runtime error. With 4.0.1 three days ago i got a Visual C++ Runtime Error. Now i deleted the Folders "blocks" and "chainstate" and installed version 4.0.2. It successfully imported from bootstrap.dat and also downloaded the last blocks up to 706031. Short after starting the Wallet every time the same Runtime error. Yes i rebooted the machine. Does this mean there will need to be more changes to the wallet code OR is this is an issue that is localized to a specific user's setup that can be fixed without code changes?

Is your wallet totally synced when this happens? Mine is stuck @ 706990 and i get an assertion error @ line 1566, then that terminating error.
