Hello, I represent a billionaire tycoon investor who is interested in purchasing some of this.

But seriously.

There are some very good things and some very bad things about this project.

The bad.

1) It's an obvious scam. That's a bad thing.

2) It's a poorly run scam. That is to say it's a bad thing done poorly.

3) So far about 99% of this project appears to be smoke. The other 1% hasn't been analyzed yet.

The good.

The project itself has an unfocused adaptability that would make it useful to a more serious project. It is like a chainsaw that has been idling, pretending to work but actually just buzzing.

The misuse of the phrase "artificial intelligence" is annoying. The phrase has several meanings and with this coin the most primitive applies. However, artificial intelligence in its other sense, its more useful sense, is one of the most important subjects as more and more fields become too specialized to have a large community of experts.

A coin can be built specifically to force the development of more powerful algorithms. It would be a real bitcoin 2.0 and although it would not be proprietary, it could be lucrative to begin, if that is a person's goal.

Thank you for the half assed attempt at whatever bullshit this is supposed to be. Next time when you make a new account, you should at the very least, make many so to increase your chances of me still not giving a fuck about your 0day post crap.

Seriously?

xoxo

Not to feed trolls, but can you expand on this?

Not sure what needs to be clarified, so I'll guess.

Thousands of years ago a big academic question might have been how to concentrate a brine solution to preserve food. Once someone figured out how to evaporate some water that knowledge could be shared in 5 minutes and anyone could become proficient in a few weeks.

Now there are fields of knowledge that most people alive today do not even know exist. A person cannot hope to learn even the tiniest useful fraction of what a person could learn, and more practically, that knowledge is not available for use. It is largely restricted to academics.

Currencies have in time past been used as a means to transfer commodities. Only because of money can an urban person eat something other than rats and pigeons.

Digital currencies allow 'money' to have added dimensions. So far nothing significant has been added to the early digital currencies like bitcoin. But the possibility is there. One idea that has been discussed elsewhere is to use the generation of coins to develop artificial intelligence in a practical way. This means that it is not a specific algorithm that creates a coin but rather a more complex process.

Right now you can take a meta view of currencies and sum it up by saying there is x value in y number of currencies. The next step would be to create a currency that contains that x value and y number. And then competing 'meta currencies' would emerge and you would be where you began, but at a higher meta level. It is sort of like the opposite of the evolution of conventional currencies, where you started with x number of commodities then maybe 100x units of currency then many currencies each with lesser and lesser possible intrinsic value. In this case, using the development of algorithms to create coins, you are creating a commodity, i. e. a useful artificial intelligence, and the commodity becomes plentiful faster than the currency can be generated. The broader economy, financial framework or whatever, becomes trivial.
