Does python use C++ interpreter or system python?

Can we import modules?  What's the advantage of traditional shells (surprise me) Wink

Did you just do a shell and that's why you're asking?

Honestly not sure why you're being so defensive when i'm genuinely interested...

I'm a developer, i'm interested in what people develop.

After the pic for Python in XAI was shown on here, let me show you a quick paste of a phrase from the Supernet newsletter that afternoon:

New lead API developer
Bassguitarman has become lead API developer for SuperNET: ‘We added 2 new api calls, Python and bash, so now you can embed python/bash inside SuperNET.’ Expect more news.

Completely different, 1) those api calls were implemented before you announced.  See here: https://github.com/jl777/btcd/pull/25/files.  I announced 2 days before you did here: http://104.236.15.119:8086/logs/api/2015-02-10 2) they are api calls, not a gui, the function allows you to load python scripts from c, it's not a full fledged interpreter or shell.

Okay. So why did jl777hodl wait until Sapience was announced to bring out "SkyNet?"

I don't know too much about skynet's beginnings (or current status), but I did find out about the project and buy some assets in the bulk presale a week or 2 before public ann, so I don't think it's a copy.

So you're invested in the competition and come here to bottom feed, got it.

Hey Bass. Please don't start an argument with traders. I appreciate your interest, but maybe it is smarter to directly get in touch with Cedric about all this stuff. He's the only one that can tell you more than the information that is available to the public.

Please don't be hostile, they are different projects with different aims.  And I sold my position in skynet a while back

I got bassguitarman's PM and responded, and we'll see if he's interested in something in the Sapience Space Program for the XaiSat satellite & #LunarNode project, might be pretty cool for college applications.

Here is a something to check out some of the features of Sapience PlumeDB with until the new Sapience public wallet build is released.

http://www.sapienceexplorer.com/

It's not a complete set of functions yet, but will be updated shortly with further functionality.

Yes, will certainly write up a help page / tutorial soon.  Cheesy

Once the two data retrieval RPC calls are finished I will write up a short guide on how to start a plume, check for data reservation proposals, accept proposals, add data to the plume and then retrieve the data.

Absolutely awesome ethought!

However basic is the functionality at this point, it really goes to show the potential of Sapience/XAI and the protocol that is being developed. For starters, and very quickly, this will be a powerful distributed database & computation engine, upon which, others can develop their own applications and host a variety of services.

What's more, it's one of the very few crypto projects that effectively ties meaningful utility to its currency units, and utility with the potential for widespread adoption, as opposed to having just some obscure niche use case or a purely speculative value.

I feel very lucky to be part of this adventure.  Wink
