Passwords don’t expire though (I have been using the same one for ~15 years). More likely in my opinion is that your account was automatically closed. This happens if you sell all your online seats. Are you currently holding any online seats? If not, you would need to create a new account and purchase seats using the auction to vote.

This poll result marks an end to the growth of the Nasty Project and I will now turn my attention towards getting this BTC into the hands of its rightful owners.

So I assume when you say rightful owners this include minted seats and online seats?  How long do you anticipate this taking?  I believe minted seats would be the easiest and most straightforward since they are tied to the coins and you have the addresses and distribution list; you may want to start here.

Also, while you're at it and since you mention- "I think that interest in this project has fallen to the point where exploring distribution of BTC from our savings to the seats seems appropriate. Especially when you take into account quantum fears and the nature of Minted Seats. I am also not getting any younger, so I cannot just hold that BTC forever.", why don't you put out a poll to eliminate or significantly lower the threshold payouts as 0.001 for minted seats and 0.0005 for online seats is too high as this amount is no longer dust and hasn't been considered dust years.  At this point, it's been like holding folks BTC hostage.

The BTC can be distributed to all seats at any time. I wouldn’t call it me holding folks BTC hostage. Nobody has ever requested me to distribute it so I am doing what I am supposed to do. If everyone now wants the BTC distributed, I would certainly be willing to do so. That would be the end of this project, but if that is what the people want I would not stand in the way.

I haven’t seen anyone ask me to distribute our savings. It is me bringing it up and saying I want to distribute the BTC. You saying there was years of no mining is flat out wrong. I’ve been running miners in my home the entire time over the last 15 years. Just because we didn’t solo mine a block recently, doesn’t mean I wasn’t dealing with heat, noise, and electrical bills during that period. I believe what you mean to say is thank you to me for my efforts over the last 15 years and that you agree with me about distributing the funds and think it is time for that discussion with the rest of the seat owners.
